More likely a coincidence. When you are down to 10mbps, check your app, More, Advanced Cellular Metrics and see if your 5G entry is blank (meaning you are on LTE). When it is only 50, check to see what band 5G is using. What I notice is at band N41, my speed is good. When on band N71, I get slower download and almost zero upload.
