BYOD-ROUTER Specifications
Anyone find the specifications for the BYOD-ROUTER? things like whether it handles 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz? Searched allover the T-Mobile site and found nada!

I don't think there is a BYOD for T-Mobile or Verizon. This isn't like Xfinity where you can purchase your own cable modem rather than rent equipment from Xfinity.

Funny you should say that since when I ordered 5G Home Internet I was billed for BYOD-ROUTER which in other words is their chosen name, not mine.

BTW, on the website it is referred to Arcadyan KVD21 Gateway and there are specs available at https://www.t-mobile.com/support/home-internet/arcadyan-gateway

Hello, so you can search for APN on the t-mobile site and find what your looking for. Keep in mind they can not really help you setup your byod-router. I personally just had this experience this week as I'm having issues with my new t-mobile SIM not connecting to their network using my new byod-router. Turns out according to their tech folks that the tower in my area is currently being worked on and this is the reason I'm having issues with the SIM not connecting.
You should check your device’s eligibility to work on t-mobile network here using your devices IMEI number.
and find cell settings info here. Specifically, you'll most likely need the APN & the SMS Center number. there are some other settings here but may not apply to your device cell setup.

FYI: No user name, password or PIN are currently required for your SIM to work.
Good luck.

This router can be used with the T-Mobile home internet just by inserting the SIM card into it from the gateway that T-Mobile has sent you
