can't activate rebate

Got the "congrats you're approved" email for the $100 prepaid mastercard promo they ran when i signed up for 5g home internet in December.  However when trying to "activate" the rebate (entering the phone number and "text from image"...it comes back with we were not able to validate information provided.

Anyone else running into this?  Not looking forward to calling customer service.

  • I got same issue with the $50 rebate just today, did they ever fix this for you? got congrats email but it wont activate and it texted my home internet device which is not helpful since I can’t do anything from there

    Sadly no luck.  Reached out to custormer support twice, first time they said there was a problem with issuing the E rebate and that a physical card was being mailed out that day.  after a few weeks wen by and not receiving it, reached out again and the rep said another physsical card would be shipped out, even gave me the last 4 digits of card for reference. Now months later, nothing. I gave up.  Hope you have better results in getting the rebate processed and received. good luck.

  • Well, I tried to renew rebate for virtual mastercard?  It either says invalid info or after putting in all the mobile numbers it says temporarily locked.   Is this virtual cards busted?  Will this never work with T-mobile?  So far, this has been a very unpleasant experience…. 😭

  • I too have been trying to get my $150 Mastercard for 4 1/2 months 5 phone calls,11/2-2 hours apiece, 3 different departments 4 different representatives. 4 or 5 emails, never working, waiting 5-7 days each email finally gave them a time allotment after being told friday(today) positively and no email. Over shot my time limit by 1 hour(11/2 total) 2 more emails still not working, blamed bank for dysfunctional emails today. Presently looking for instructions to return equipment and cancel account. Required I pay my 1st bill, now paid 4 ontime and in full. Promo went from Mastercard to digital Mastercard, requested hard card another 15 days, sure ya don't wanna apply to bill, and still no card no resolution in sight. Done!! Don't want to support a company that don't support their customers.. also that dont honor their own word
