I accidentally hid my network does anyone where how i can find it

  • Did you look under the bed? 馃槑 If you know the name you just enter the name and the pass phrase and you will be connected. If you don't remember the SSID/Name of the network then you can reset the gateway to factory default and set it up again.

  • Before you do reset if you know your IP address you can log into the router and re-enable the broadcast to be visible.

  • That is sort of a chicken and egg game there. If you can't see the network, you can't get logged in to get an IP address and even if you know your IP address that you "had" that does not help. If the T-Mobile home internet mobile application can't connect to the hidden network that you don't see or know the name or passphrase well you are out of luck. Just have to start over by doing a factory reset. Hopefully the T-Mobile home internet mobile application will play ball and connect. It seems to only play nice on an Android and likes to play games with an Apple iOS device. Well, it seems to want to just ask you to setup the gateway for the most part. At least on my iPhone 12 Pro it is pretty much a near useless mobile application due to its poor functionality.

With others stating how you can reset it, I鈥檓 going to ask How do you accidently hide your Network?

  • I would suggest that maybe the network was hidden by mistake maybe or hidden and the information about the network name and passphrase was not recorded. Either way it is possible. The mobile application has the switch which possibly could be flipped by accident and then the save is done. If a user is not familiar with the tech that might not register. At any rate what is done is done. The best and least intrusive path is to reset the admin pass phrase to default, assuming it works, and then login and correct the mistake.

Life happens and we just have to move along.

  • It's an easy mistake to make. During setup on the app, the screen appears with the "Hidden" slide switch and the Save button enabled. The default during setup is actually NOT hidden, but that screen in the app tries to get you to change that value.

Very confusing indeed. I fell for it the first time until I realized what I had done and used the app to reverse the action.

Of course, a hard reset will do the same thing, but you will run right back into that setup issue on the app. When that page appears, just ignore it. You should be able to connect to WiFi and see the SSID advertised on your phone.
