how to get more then 2 bars on my home internet gateway?
We just got a new home internet gateway and I can't get it over 2 bars in 5 different places I have tried putting it in the house. ¿Estoy haciendo algo mal? Because I'm doing what it's telling me to do

We are fine on 2 bars but our signal cuts out a lot. T-Mobile tells us there's nothing they can do.

I was worried about only getting three bars until I read all these posts. The fact of the matter is that the ookla speed test reports that I'm getting 200mbs download and 20 upload so I'm going to let sleeping dogs lie. Also, when I called spectrum to cancel with them they gave me a $15 discount and an offer of 500mbs download. I have been told many times that this is what they do, give you a 12 month rate and then raise it, in this case from $50 to $70 without warning. When I pointed this out to the Rep he said, oh you need to get paper billing and then look on page 5 and you'll see where it states that. Seriously? Then he told me to expect bad or no signal during weather events which is interesting since I've had no trouble with T-Mobile 5G on my phone for the last two years and, frankly, have had no trouble with weather with any cell service I've ever had. I wasn't rude or even angry and I didn't hold the Rep responsible for the actions of his company, but I did take some small delight in pointing out that the only reason I was cancelling was because of this business practice and that I wouldn't stay signed up with them even if they charged less.

Wow, that doesn't say a lot good about Frontier. Are you out in the wilds?

Just got my home 5g 2 days ago and have poor speeds. I am trying to follow the advice in this thread, but when I go to 192.168.12.1, I do not find any options (or mention) of primary or secondary signal. I have a "home", "networks", and "support" buttons on the side. ¿Tienes alguna idea?

I am so exited to test it since a few days , I am in zip code 19018 (PA) , closest cellphone tower is not very near (please shoot me a good cellphone tower site if you have one) , I have currently this data :
Descarga total
31.68 MB
Carga total
2.96 MB
try to hook up more devices and run my 21-30days test ,
I believe the upload is more on the lower end , two bars on my device, but i can work on my laptop pretty good so far , please post any tweaks to make the gateway/speed faster , I was nervous if this will work fine but I am impressed so far and will test for another 2 to 3 weeks on.
Thanks for all advices and inputs on that !!
running test on my primary provider is still better :
PING ms
21
DOWNLOAD Mbps
53.79
UPLOAD Mbps
5.97
