Network Reliability

Hey all,

I've been a T-Mobile 5G Home Internet user since November of 2023 and service has been good but recently, in the past few weeks, service has been poor. It has gone offline a few times, speeds have been poor, and just unreliable.

I'm in Northeast Texas and was curious if anyone else has been having the same experience recently. To be honest if this is to continue, I might as well switch to Optimum or whatever else is available in my area. Shoot I may even try Verizon's 5G Home Internet.

  • I'm having the same problem. The past three days, every night around eight o'clock, the bottom drops out of the internet.  Speeds in the kbps region. Getting sick of this. I pay good money for this service.

  • So I've had the home internet since December. It has always been really fast(as compared to ATT) and it would never just drop off until about 3 weeks ago. Now, it seems like maybe it's throttling. Says that T-Mobile doesn't throttle but I can't see what else could be going on. Speeds have gone from about 120 all the way down to about 22! And it keeps dropping off completely. I'm in East TX. And nothing has changed as far as where the modem is, ect. Very agitated!

    TMobile Home Internet Speed Results

I've been having the same problem.  I've reset my modem.  I've moved the TMobile modem to a different, hopefully better location and the slow internet speeds still exist.  The internet speeds are extremely erratic.  I don't know when they will get bogged down so that I can avoid those peak times, it's extremely random and aggravating.
