New to TMHI and lost 5G connection after 1 day.
Got my Sagemcon gateway yesterday and setup everything. Had excellent connection/signal with consistent DL speeds of 100-200mbps and peak speeds of 450mbps. RSRQ was -11 RSRP was -80 SINR was 90+. It was running great for about 24hrs.
Today randomly it dropped 5G connection altogether. TMHI app is only showing LTE signal but no 5G signal. Speeds are sub 1-2mbps. Tried multiple power cycles (unplugging it), moving it (even though it was perfect before) and still only LTE connection is made. Nothing changed except it dropped 5G and it hasn't come back. I can see the cell tower from my house so line of sight is unhindered.
After 6 hours of no 5G I called the TMHI help line. Then check my "home" tower and found that its 5G service was offline. They said there is a service ticket in for it and it could take 24-48 hours to fix.
Its now been 12 hours and still no 5G. Is this normal for TMHI? I am attempting to get away from Xfinity but I WFH during the summer and this outage will not work for me.
@Zaaz76 I have only experienced TM working on my tower 2-3 times over the past year. My LTE speed (b66) was usually 25-30 Mbps.

Have you tried giving Support a call to run through some troubleshooting? Support can also diagnose why it is connected to LTE instead of 5G.

Thanks for the replies. I should have been more clear in my OP. I did call and they confirmed my "home" or closest tower was offline for 5G service and was only LTE. They tried to connect me to the next closest tower but I could not get 5G service since it was much further away. LTE was giving me Internet access but at 1-2mbps speed.
I was asking if this happens often with TMHI? I work from home during the summer and have Zoom meetings often. The LTE speeds of 1-2 Mbps is not going to cut it if 5G service stays off line.
