When will 'advanced' features for the new gateway be available?

I have the same issue, the device is great in that it allows me to have high-speed an oddball area, surrounded by fiber and multiple options, only bonded pairs on my street.  BUT, no static IP support, ability to set your own subnet, or DHCP reservations severely limit the devices applicability.

As mentioned above have mine going straight into a good home router/wireless AP and that seems to be working.  If that all works I'll keep it, if I see issues popping up with double NAT or any other technical quirkiness/goofiness manifests I'll just send it back and live with my old 30 down and 3 up connection.  Fortunately I don't have anything that needs DMZ, does anyone still use DMZ?
