CellSpot v2 Update Email - How?
I got an email asking me to update my CellSpot: I have a CellSpot V2 SS2FII Femtocell Multi-Band SOHO, manufactured by Nokia. It is connected to my home internet. The light is blinking green, indicating LTE traffic going through it. If I turn it off, my LTE service vanishes. So I think it's working fine. The link in the email goes here: 4G LTE CellSpot setup & help Which says nothing about updating it. The femtocell version doesn't have a wifi network, so how am I supposed to update it? Is my neighbor's 4G LTE Cellspot degrading my service?
For reference I live in an apartment building which has acceptable T-Mobile service as I'vegone years without any issues living here. A new neighbor hasmoved in recently,and I noticed that I havebeen experiencingworse call qualityand more calls have beendropping. Our building has a very spotty internet provider with high ping and slow upload speeds. A few things lead me to believe that my new neighborshave installed a T-Mobile 4G LTE Cellspot. I'mfamiliar with the Cellspot because my parents live in a rural area and have one in their home.In the past myphone used to display 5G service regularly, nowinstead itdisplays LTE exclusively. When stepping outside about twenty yards away from the building my 5G service returns. I also receive better speeds when running a speed test outside away from my building. Inside of my building I barely reach 40mbs down and usually below5 mbs upload speed which is important for calls and video calls. Speed and the quality of calls has never been an issue before.But only recently becauseof this I'm needingto leave my hometo make calls. It's frustrating because like I said this is a recent issue and I can pin it to something that's making it worse. I use my T-Mobile service to get away from my terrible internetto begin with. I understand that there is no way to connect to the tower directly because the Cellspot is basically a small tower itself and the phone connects there by default. ¿Cuáles son mis opciones?Confirm CellSpot Coverage Address
I am receiving notification from T-Mobile that they cannot confirm my CellSpot coverage address. I follow the procedure to confirm via text messaging, but there is no reply. I tried to confirm the correct address with my online account (it already is correct, nothing has changed), so nothing is there to allow me to confirm it. If I call 611, the people answering have no idea how to confirm my address. Any ideas how to do this - I am dependent upon my CellSpot because the coverage is so bad in our area in Florida.
