I am having the Unknown backend error message when trying to make a payment from may 1, 2024.I have use auto-payment for years. The system did not take the payment. I cannot make the payment online. T mobile customer support cannot take the payment over the phone. The IVR system cannot take the payment. Their customer service send me to the local store. The local store called their support cause they couldn't help. The store support couldn't help the store manage, to help me because the store employees and manager couldn't be verified by "their support". This is a mess! They treat prepaid like second class citizens. Their post paid service is not better either. I was about to change from pre-paid to post paid and realized they are even worse! I was promised a call back, and t mobile broke their promise by no calling back. Very disappointing! I have been with Sprint, now T-Mobile since 2001.. 22 years.. 264 payments. Last month I made ZERO phone calls. T-Mobile has texted and called like a crackhead needing a fix because I didn't pay my bill last month. (due to a family emergency too sad to talk about here) On Sunday when talking to a rep and explaining everything and how the old and new bill will be payed in full on 8/5/2023 he apologized, reflected back that I was a long time customer and that I don't use my phone. He told me not too worry about my account being suspended and that he would write our conversation in the notes. Today T-Mobile suspended my account. Broke the promise they made and ultimately made me feel very lucky communicating thru apps and not relying on the promises, business sense, common sense or customer loyalty of T-Mobile. I have been a T-Mobile customer for about 7 years. I currently have a grandfathered Simple Choice plan with 5 phones and 4 tablets. I also have Home Internet and 4 Sync Up Drive devices. When I first signed up for the Simple Choice plan I seem to remember that the tablets and the tablet data were included at no additional charge. In fact, I remember using my tablets for several years with no issues (at no charge). About 4 years ago I had to go to Europe on business and I purchased a Data Pass. After the data pass expired my tablet stopped working. I have called T-Mobile on numerous occasions over the years to resolve this problem and customer service is basically clueless with regards to Simple Choice. In addition, my bill is confusing. The customer service agent(s) are unable to explain these "discounts". I believe that my account should at least include the $10 monthly data plan (2GB) and that the $10.00 "Mobile Internet Discount" is on my bill to "grandfather" my devices. The problem is that my tablets no longer have data and the only way I can get them to work is to purchase a data pass. That is not what I signed up for. And, as I said, everything worked correctly until I purchased a data plan for European travel. I have been a loyal customer for a long time. I have never received any "promos", free phones, etc. from T-Mobile. I know this is not a huge issue but it really bothers me that T-Mobile won't fix my account. This is a long one - this has been ongoing for almost a year now. At work - I no longer stay connected to the T-Mobile network. I had NO issues with network connection before the big "5G" roll out while at work. The last conversation with a T-Mobile tech person - was to send me a phone that did not have "5G" capabilities. No change - I miss calls, texts, etc. while at work. The phone kicks me off the T-Mobile network ALL the time while at work. In fact, I can't make any calls out from my cell phone right now. In order to verify information - I had to use my email that I could access on my work computer. I have moved past frustration and now I am the anger part - I am paying a bill for services that I can only use in certain areas! And I don't care what Dolly had to say about T-Mobile during the Super Bowl - in my opinion - she is representing a company that cannot resolve my network connection issue while I am at work. I can't contact any body right now at T-Mobile for assistance because I am at work - no freaking signal. Anyone have any suggestions? The only reason I haven't cancelled my service through T-Mobile is because I have 5 lines on the account and I am the only one that has an ongoing issue - but I am getting closer to cancelling my account with them.
