hotspot issues
7 TopicsSlow MiFi
I just received and set up a new MiFi 5G hotspot. Yesterday, things seemed pretty good, although I didn't run a speed test. This evening, the MiFi is slower than the DSL router with downloads ranging from 0.49mbps to 4.44mbps. I've restarted it and the MacBook Pro but nothing seems to help. I have 4 bars showing on the hotspot. What's the solution? I don't need to be paying for a slower solution than the DSL I was trying to replace.930Visto0likes5Comentarios5G hotspot
Hello! well, I've got a T-mobile hotspot and was going to followthe instructions about Web UI & advanced settings. But the problem is that the web site which was provided there is not working, I mean, it seems like it doesn't exist. So, how can I login to my Web UI home page??Solved907Visto0likes3ComentariosHotspot device disconnecting from T-mo internet
Recently purchased a T-mobile branded 5G hotspot, Model D53. Gets consistent 5g signal but it loses its ability to connect / relay internet traffic after about 30 - 40 minutes. Then I have to restart the device to get it to begin allowing network connections again. So far I've reset the SIM card, reset the device to factory, both with no changes in the functionality. Anyone seen similar issues and resolved them?526Visto1like5Comentarioscan't use ssh connections when i'm using the hotspot
whenever i connect my laptop to my phone's mobile hotspot, i can never get these to work: ssh connection to my AWS environment running apt-get update / yum updates on my Ubuntu distro embedded in my Windows 10 laptop installing anything via Mac Terminal on my Macbook Pro, such as RVM / NVM / wget calls / telnet calls, etc the most common error i get in all the above use-cases is some variant of a "Network is unreachable" error message anyone else run into this issue? These issues defeat the point of paying for mobile hotspot since i have to be able to actually work using the hotspot : )318Visto1like1Comentario5G Mobile Hotspot: location incorrect
I've had the 5G Hotspot box for a few months now. I have no specific issues with speed and connection. Sometimes my speeds gets pretty low but that's only happened a handful of times. What I DO have an issue with is location services on my iPhone XR. Often, it shows me at my home address, not at work or wherever. Sometimes it resets to my exact location after a few hours; sometimes not. This doesn't happen when I'm on the move, walking or driving, and it shows my exact location. But when I am static, any maps app shows me back at my home/billing location. Anyone else have this problem with the 5G Hotspot? Any fixes? Location corrects itself when I switch to an alternate wifi signal or cellular data, but sometimes resets itself back to my home/billing location. A T-Mo salesperson suggested replacing the battery on the phone but that didn't solve things either. My privacy/location services settings on the phone are also where they should be.119Visto0likes2ComentariosThis is clearly fraud lying about speeds
I said in previous posts that I was getting 2G-3G speeds I'm even getting these speeds in my regular service. They said "To 600KBPs not "Up To" and this screenshot is actually fast compared to what I get most the time and I get this speed in the beginning of my bill cycle too This proves I'm only getting 3 G at best barely reaching 4G T Mobile is a scam85Visto0likes2Comentarios
