internet disruptions
9 Topics5G home internet - connection innteruption -support contacted
We started our 5g home internet with T-Mobile about 6 months ago, it was working fantastic for about 4 of those months. Last month near the very beginning we started having an issue where all of our devices are connected to the modem, but no internet connection is available, the only fix we have is to unplug and restart the modem. We called support yesterday, they told us about the new 2022 modems and that many customers have been calling in with this issue. After getting our new modem yesterday we still have the same issue every 30 mins a break in our internet connection begins and we need to re-start our modem. I called support again this morning to which they again said many customers are having this same issue. When I heared that a bell went off, "T-Mobile has a massive server or processing error with all of these modems, not just the old one we were dealing with." They proceeded with the basic turning the router off and powering it back on, the support told me he was doing some sort of trouble shooting (to which he was supposed to send a list of troubleshoots to use if it were to continue, he never did) I got a call about 20 mins after to make sure my internet was still working, I told them yes and that it hadn't even been long enough for us to have the issue again, they were happy with that and gladly wished me a good rest of my day. I am so beyond frustrated with T-Mobile right now, they honestly should be giving customers a refund of last months billing cycle and get this sorted for all the hoops we have to go through in order to even have a half hour of this so called premier coverage of 5g home internet, it's really feeling like a bad joke and customers are just supposed to deal with it.960Visto1like9ComentariosWhats Going On Lately With The Poor T-Mobile Internet Service???
For the past week to 10 days (Today is 8-24-22) T-Mobile Internet has been a waste of money….I believe they are messing with the tower configurations in my area...I use to get 100Mbps Download speed and now they are only mustering up a piddly 17-20Mbps. When will you guys get things back to normal?? Up until a week or so ago I use to connect to T-Mobile Tower MCC 310, MNC 260, Region 31695, Tower894300, Cell 228940863 at MINIMUM and Consistent Speed of 50-75Mbps Download at a 5G Extended Signal Band 71. NOW I can ONLY connect to T-Mobile Tower MCC 310, MNC 260, Region 31695, Tower 73303, Cell 18765571at MAXIMUMand NON-Consistent Speed of 17-20Mbps Download at a 4GLTESignal Band 2. This goes for ALL MY T-Mobile Devices...Home Internet Gateway AND TWO (2) Cell Phones...Magenta Plan. I signed up for and switch over to T-Mobile about 2 Months ago and now this crud. What The Heck Are You Guys Doing And Why Taking So Long? Is This Permanent? Let's Get It Fixed! Otherwise I am raising cain with billing and not paying for this stuff...Better Business Bureau also gets T-Mobiles attention for all others seeing this same poor service now. So this has been happening the past 3 days. Whenever I turn my hotspot on my cellular data drops and I cant use the phone or the hotspot. Its becoming increasingly frustrating since ive been wanting to play on my pc with my friends and talk to them on discord.499Visto0likes1ComentarioSignal strength VAPORIZED. More downtime with T-Mobile Home Internet than I've ever had with any other ISP.
I got sick of the constant downtime that I experienced with Cox every time a tropical storm came through Louisiana, so I decided to give T-Mobile a try. There's no phone lines to fall down so the internet is always up, right? And since I already have 4 phone lines and 3 cellular devices with T-Mobile, it seemed like the right course of action and the price was attractive, although I would GLADLY PAY MORE for faster data (I can keep dreaming, right?) WRONG. T-Mobile home internet goes down like 5 times a day. I used to call it in but it happens now so frequently that it's a waste of time. They would tell me they're doing upgrades and to wait it out, toggle the power switch on/off and it usually came back on in 3-4 minutes. I stuck with T-Mobile thinking those "upgrades" would pay off, but they haven't and it's actually taken a turn for the worse. The outages are now lasting between 5-10 minutes and on top of that, I have an entirely new problem that didn't exist before: LOW SIGNAL STRENGTH. For 7 months, my gateway has been sitting in the same exact place. It's positioned right in front of the window, on top of 4 milk crates because it's the only place in the house where I can get 4 bars, but that's all come to an end because all of the sudden, out of nowhere, I only gets 2 bars now. This happened about 4 days ago and I haven't moved any furniture or anything, it just dropped from 4 bars to 2 and there's no other place in the house where I can get a decent signal. The only way I can get 3 bars, is IF I TAKE IT OUTSIDE. What's strange is that the symptoms are not consistent. Sometimes the cellular will go out on all my devices (which makes sense if T-Mobile is working on the tower) but other times, it's just the home internet that goes down. It's about 50/50. Do gateways just go bad? Is there any kind of extender?439Visto2likes4ComentariosWhile Tethering in 5g the connection constantly drops and reconnects. How do I fix?
How can i fix the this 5g tether issue? It only started when I moved to Denver area, All around Denver it does this. One day I did clear the Cashe at seems to be ok for a while but then the issue returned later in the evening. It is very annoying . . I can force the 4g connection on the phone and the issue goes away. BUT its a pain and I dont think I should have to. When I was in Ohio and other places I have not had the issue, it only started when I moved to Denver area. I am not going to clear the cache every day or everytime I want to use the teather feature. . I suggest it is from the last security update possibly ??273Visto1like4ComentariosNew to TMobile Internet and service drops intermittently
I have been using T Mobile internet for last 2 months. Here are my experiences I use internet for work, video calls, streaming and live tv I love the idea of wireless and ease of install. It was peachy Main issues are a) We suddenly loose service for a minute or two 2. It was happening between 10:30am and 12 noon but recently it also happened in the evenings For example, we lost connection during the NFC game over the weekend for about 5 minutes; that was a bummer At times, during video call, the internet will be noticeably slow You need to do something soon to resolve these issues before peoplestart to switch Saw the recent negative ad from Xfinity and my wife and were able to relate to it. Please look into it. Gracias104Visto0likes2ComentariosHome Internet gets disconnected very often

I'm resetting my router & hoping this works.I've done everything from restarting & unplugging to debugging & clearing. I can't get it to stay patched online & my ethernet cables don't even allow me tv to connect, this is ridiculous to say the least.23Visto0likes0Comentarios
