LG V60 upgrade to Android 13 fails
OTA update to Android 13 fails every time. Accept update Download update and optimize phone When optimization completes, Tap 'Restart Now' Phone reboots 4-5 times but never gets passed initial V60 boot screen Finally completes reboot to home page and a message that says 'Couldn't install system update' - Tap to learn more Explanation simply says 'Installation problem' Does anyone have any idea how to get the upgrade to complete?
Moved to Verizon with my LGV60 phone, probably worst decision ever.
I switched a couple of days ago to T-Mobile fromVerizon and brought my device. Phone Model: LG V60 ThinQ 5GUW (LM-V600VM) I was assured by the sales person and the website device compatibility check I should get 4G and 5G (but maybe not UC which is understandable). SUPRISE!I am now stuck on3G and "E". After calling support I was pretty much suggested I should have researched "possible" band incompatibility issues and not to expect full compatibility. Weird thing is when I restart my phone, toggle off/on airplane mode I get 5G for about 45 seconds and 5G speeds. I absolutely love this phone and any current phone model you have I fee is a downgrade and definitely not worth the monthly financing and down payment required, in my opinion based on research. Troubleshooting steps already taken and possible critical details: Manually configured APN settings. Rebooted phone. Tried all modes of service/network types. It is currentlyon Global, but I seem to only have a constant 5G connection when network type is CDMA/LTE - however I cannot make any calls in this mode. Swapped SIM cards for a new one. Reset Network Settings on the device. Have confirmed this phone with Verizon can go up to 999mbps under the 5GUW service. Instead of going in circleswith troubleshooting, there has to be someone in this big giant company that can simply tell me this phone is not compatiblefor XYZ reason, and would be nice if you red flag it for anyone else who can get caught up in my situation.LG V60 ThinQ screen or proximity sensor gone wonky and looking for solutions.My
My wife's LG V60 ThnkQ has either a screen proiblem or a faulty proximity=ty sensor. This manifests it's self in this way. Numerous times during a a call her phone seems to drop the call. I can no longer hear her but she can hear me just fine. It's gotten to the point that I just calmly say your "Check your phone" and a few seconds later she will come back and I'll be able to hear her again. It's gotten progressively worse since we got the phone. Today, a 3 minute conversation it happened four times and made the conversation twice the length it needed to be. Basically the damn screen just turns on and her cheek will mute the call or call somebody else or who knows what? I have seen references to this issue on Reddit and here as well but if there has been a solution nobody says what it is. Here is the real problem: She works as a therapist for the city in which we live working with people at risk of all sorts of calamities and really cannot have a garbage phone with non working bits, this has go to stop. Also, we are still on Sprint's network since when we bought her phone and my Note 20 ultra T-Mobile's network in our area was as bad as can be imagined so the store put us back on the Sprint network. I'm not sure if that matters but it says give as mush detail as possible. No, she does have a screen protector even though cell phone screens are about as durable as eyeballs so even though it's stupid not to have one on the phone we cant really run the risk of that screwing up another feature. If you can offer some advice, please do as we are open to anything. Otherwise I'm going to use the insurance and get another phone. Thanks !
LG V60 MMS won't send on wifi
Is it normal to have no APN selected? This is what is default when I enter the APN settings. Recently, I haven't been able to send any MMS messages while connected to wifi, whether it is my home wifi or wifi at work (or any other place for that matter). SMS and other things work; MMS works when I'm not connected to wifi. I have tried configuring APN settings manually but nothing online that I have seen has worked for me. I am currently back on default settings but still can't figure out how to get my MMS to work while I am connected to wifi. MMS had not been working in the past initially, but I changed to a new messaging app (Google Messages)and MMS had been working fine for a while on wifi, before not working again recently.
Could unlocked T-Mobile V60 activate VoLTE/Wifi Calling?
Hi I have an unlocked T-Mobile LG V60 thinQ(LM-V600TM), and now I am using it in Taiwan. But I cannot see the VoLTE option(toggle) and turn on the WiFi calling. Any way to solve this? To help me activate these functions. (VoLTE was available in Taiwan.) Thank you so much.
LG V60 powering while charging...
I just got an LG V60 (used). Everything on the phone works fine. The problem is that I turn the phone off every night. When i unplug the charging cable in the morning, the phone has powered itself back on. Is there some setting that I can change to stop this behavior? Let me know. Thanks.
