network issues

I use mosh (https://mosh.org/) to connect to some servers and have for years, which has normally worked fine, butfor the last couple of weeks it has not worked over the tmobile network at all, the UDP packets never reach their destination. I can SSH into the servers fine and run commands over SSH, but when trying to switch to mosh, which uses UDP, all UDP packets to the host are dropped and never received, while if I switch to a wireless network then they are received at the destination fine, and have tested over multiple different ISPs to different destination servers. Support are useless, as expected when it comes to asking indepth questions about networking protocols.6.5KViews6likes16ComentariosDNS issue on T-Mobile ISP
I switched to T-Mobile ISP a week back and only reason for that was couple of pretty good offers. From the time I switched I honestly was regretting as I was facing DNS issues with a few websites and sometimes my work VPN too. It will not be able to reach a few websites for a few minutes and then it would just work like nothing happened. Initially I could not understand what can cause this but then it occurred to me that it must be DNS issue. To my horror, I realized that DNS (and in fact even many basic settings) can not be configured on this T-Mobile gateway. I was facing this issue on a macbook, everything else just worked fine so I then thought of seeing what my macbook was using. It showed local network configured as DNS server, I removed that and added cloudflare's DNS1.1.1.1. That has fixed my problem. In short: If you are facing trouble in reaching some websites periodically and this is happening only on a few devicesthen try switching DNS on your device to 1.1.1.1 or some other open DNS servers.4KViews0likes1ComentarioNew Phone not Connecting to T-mobile Network
Hello, I bought a new phone, the Kyocera 702KC. It is fully unlocked and when I popped my SIM in, it gave me a bar and I attempted to make a call, in the middle of the ringing, I got disconnected and can not join T-mobile again. I was told to set-up APN, but I do not know what to type in. When I go to network setting, and click on T-mobile, it says "can't connect to this network right now, try again later"Solved1.8KViews1like13ComentariosS22 Ultra Network Issues Since October Update
Since the October update , areas that Im in all day that that typically had great UC5G, now drop to 0 bars, cant take or make calls, text, or use data. ive worked with tech support both in person and here by chat. Ive changed to a ESIM, reset my network connections numerous times, wiped cache partitions, Ive been starting to see more and more people using the S22 and possibly other galaxy phones posting that since late October their mobile connections have degraded tremendously.I'll start briefly with some some 5g as i get handed off to a tower then within a minute it will drop to LTE, then a few bars of possibly 2g with no connection, to 0 bars. Ill post some screen shots of my phones rf levels. Tmobile even sent people out to these areas I had in question and said the signals fine, again leading me to conclude its in the software of the last update in October700Visto4likes8ComentariosHome Internet Signal Very Good to Weak
I switched over to Home Internet about 2 months ago. At first I was getting a "Very Good" signal and could easily stream on multiple devices without issue. The last two weeks my signal has dropped to "Weak" and many times we barely getting any throughput to the point where streams are buffering heavily. I don't think it's just a router problem because my phones with T-Mobile are running about 1-2 bars when I was getting full bars. Anyone else had this happen?631Visto1like2ComentariosNetwork - continuously - doesn't stay connected
This is a long one - this has been ongoing for almost a year now. At work - I no longer stay connected to the T-Mobile network. I had NO issues with network connection before the big "5G" roll out while at work. The last conversation with a T-Mobile tech person - was to send me a phone that did not have "5G" capabilities. No change - I miss calls, texts, etc. while at work. The phone kicks me off the T-Mobile network ALL the time while at work. In fact, I can't make any calls out from my cell phone right now. In order to verify information - I had to use my email that I could access on my work computer. I have moved past frustration and now I am the anger part - I am paying a bill for services that I can only use in certain areas! And I don't care what Dolly had to say about T-Mobile during the Super Bowl - in my opinion - she is representing a company that cannot resolve my network connection issue while I am at work. I can't contact any body right now at T-Mobile for assistance because I am at work - no freaking signal. Anyone have any suggestions? The only reason I haven't cancelled my service through T-Mobile is because I have 5 lines on the account and I am the only one that has an ongoing issue - but I am getting closer to cancelling my account with them. Thank you, Beth516Visto0likes4ComentariosAre you guys going to acknowledge recent service & network issues???
I created a Tmobile account just for this. For the past 2 days, about to go on 3 days my Iphone has been jumping between 5g & SOS. Using wifi doesn't help because thats out. A day without service? Fine, things happen. But 2 days with no service & no word about it from your carrier is a red flag. At least assure your customers who are still being charged when they dont have service that you are aware of the problem & are working on it. I guess i should start looking at finding a new network carrier. Smh.299Visto6likes6ComentariosMICHIGAN & NOT ABLE TO MAKE OR RECEIVE ALL TEXTS AND CALLS
I'm in MICHIGAN. Has anyone else been having problems with T-mobile Network and unable to receive and making phone calls and text messages? Some calls and texts will go through, but then others will fail. I've had several people say they called, but it went directly to voice-mail. I've also had people say they left messages on my voice-mail, but I haven't received them yet. Who should I contact to get fixed? I have an Elderly Mom and it's important for her to be able to contact me. Also for any other emergencies. Thank you for your help! 🫂255Visto1like7ComentariosWent from 3 bars to 1 after upgrade
I upgraded to the Iphone 12 almost two years ago. Since then I had 3 bars in my house across all devices. Now as of September 2022 after "upgrades" to towers I now have 0 bars in my house across all devices. Turn phones off an on again, updating software does not work. I look at the online coverage map it says I should have 4G. I contacted customer support they said their was a service lock on my phones and transferred me to technical assistance. The person I talked to says they show noservice in my area. This is unconscionable. How can my family go from 3 bars to none after T-mobile network upgrades to towers as of September? How can T-mobile show bright pink coverage for my address and yet no service according to your tech support? Is T-mobile forcing phone upgrades if they want signal. What has happened and what am I paying for?!!234Visto1like5Comentarios
