I've been a home internet customer for about 4 months. I'm in a rural area with no other real options. The service works well with streaming video. But I have major issues with Zoom, Teams, Skype, Facetime and other realtime meeting tools. The audio/video cut out every few minutes. I've noticed, while doing speed testing, that my data speed periodically hits zero every few minutes then returns to normal speed. It isn't noticable with video streaming, I assume because there is a buffer for a few seconds. This issue makes working from home difficult since I must attend online meetings. My current solution is to use my Verizon cell phone hotspot during each meeting. T-Mobile support keeps telling me the "tower is being upgraded". For 4 months!? I contacted T-Force for an order issue and at the end of the chat the representative stated that they had "refreshed and updated the network software on their end." Does this actually mean anything or is this just fluff? I've been having issues with signal strength for days and now today I'm just about completely cut off. Three phones plus home internet. Download speeds went from 400MB to about 0.4MB at home. About the same on phones. Won't connect to 5Guc and barely any bandwidth on LTE. Support said they we performing upgrades to towers in my area. Hi everyone, I'm experiencing issues having full 5G bar strength, but really slow or non-existent data speeds. When switching to 4G, this also happens. I've noticed it most when in rural areas. Anyone know if or when they're going to fix the "tower problems" in the Mesa AZ area. I get that we have tons of snowbirds but being unable to even get through a 30 min zoom call without being disconnected is ridiculous. I've calledso many timesand the only thing they've really done to help is send a new tower and tell me to shut it off so they can reset the connection. The last time I called, April 5th they said there was a tower down that apparently wasn't assigned to a technician properly(?) And the guy said they'd get back to me by the 7th. I haven't heard back,and the problem is getting worse.It's been getting progressively worse since about the 3+ month mark. We have had terrible problems with signal since the power outages in Austin during the early February 2023 ice storm. Are there known issues with the T-Mobile towers? Are other people having problems?Symptoms: 1) We can make and receive calls but the person at the other end generally cannot hear us. 2) If that person can hear us, the call soon drops. We went through trouble shooting and forcing 2G only seems to help. But when will normal signal function be restored? Is there any information about this available anywhere? I've had the 5G ultra for three weeks and it worked great. Then the day I upgraded to a 5G phone the 5G service disappeared from my area in Buchanan, Mi. No internet for two days now. The tech support from India was not great. I told them I had no signal, they hung up me. I tried again and they treated me like a two-year old that knows nothing about electronics. Finally after doing all the BS they asked I told them again there was no signal and they put in a trouble ticket. I also called the local T-Mobile store and they too hung up on me. Totally frustrated with T-Mobile and I am thinking about going back to Comcast even though it costs three times as much. I feel like I am in the T-Mobile Twilight Zone.
