Constant connection drops on Home internet and phones.

Anyone know if or when they're going to fix the "tower problems" in the Mesa AZ area. I get that we have tons of snowbirds but being unable to even get through a 30 min zoom call without being disconnected is ridiculous.

I've called so many times and the only thing they've really done to help is send a new tower and tell me to shut it off so they can reset the connection. The last time I called, April 5th they said there was a tower down that apparently wasn't assigned to a technician properly(?) And the guy said they'd get back to me by the 7th.

I haven't heard back, and the problem is getting worse. It's been getting progressively worse since about the 3+ month mark. Between both phone service and home internet being constantly disconnected and slow I'm so ready to start shopping for someone else.

  • Where at in Mesa? I was out in East Mesa with no problem using my phone around Baseline and Crimson.

  • you will need to contact TMO either by calling or through one of their social media platforms and have them put in a network ticket for you.

out of curiosity though. when your phones are disconnecting..are they connected to the home TMO wifi or just using regular mobile data connections?

    It's both.

The guy I talked to on the 5th said he'd get a ticket submitted, but I have no idea how that went.

  • if its both then its safe to say its a tower issue. you might try their Facebook/Twitter route.. you start with tier 2 support instead of the call in tier 1 support agents.

just make sure to DM them..dont post on their main pages.

East Mesa. Some days we have a couple disconnects and others it's every hour or less.

I live in Chandler and my service at home is fair but it's getting better. Moved in a new house and there's about 5 giant apartment complexes near me but if I leave the house about a block away my speeds are around 200mbs. Work in Phoenix southwest of Sky Harbor and it's 500mbs.

Have you tried running a speed test on your data?

Right now my cell data speed is 6.09down and 1.93 up. Home internet is 1.65 down 2.15 up. This is very typical for us. All of our devices show similar speeds.
