Simple Choice North America and Europe Vacation
I have a grandfathered plan, Simple Choice North America, which is perfect for my needs at home. We have an upcoming cruise acation, taking us to the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway and Iceland. My initial plan had been to buy the $50 International Data Pass for 30 days, so I can use my phone there and not need to swap out a European Sim. (My phone is an S10 and doesn't support eSim.) Then, I saw the news story about the Florida man charged $146,000 after a T-Mobile rep told him he was covered and I wanted to double check here. If I buy this $50 International Data and text pass and block voice calling, I should not incur any expenses while on my travels? (The phone will be in airplane mode while on the cruise ship itself. I mainly need it while in ports of call.) I just need this clarified and to avoid what happened with the Florida man.
Grandfathered Simple Choice
I've been a loyal TMobile customer for years -- have 5 lines. Just tried adding a sixth line to my grandfathered Simple Choice Plan. One service representative indicated I could add a line for $10...next representative indicated I couldn't add lines to that grandfathered plan anymore. Simple Choice Plan is perfect for me and my family, but don't feel very important to T-Mobile and the few times I try to do something with my plan...just get hours of wasted time on the phone with customer service to be told they can't do it. Any one else on grandfathered plan andfeel like a second class citizen and considering other phone providers?
Simple Choice Family Plan: Porting Out Some Family Members and Porting In New Family Members
I have a grandfathered simple choice family plan with 10 lines which include my parents, siblings, and aunt/uncles. It has come time our immediate family has grown as well as extended family. My aunt/uncles would like to go get their own family plan. And we would like to port over some phone numbers from other lines to our current simple choice family plan. If out of the 10 lines, 3 lines get their own family plan, and we port over 1 line from another tmobile account(i.e. go from 10 lines to 8 lines), can this be done without causing any billing issues? We do have a free phone line that we got in 2021. As the simple choice plan is a grandfathered plan, I want to do this change cautiously to not loose my grandfathered plan pricing. Has anyone gone through this process without any issues? Would appreciate any advice/your experience shared regarding this matter. Gracias
Simple Choice Unl Data 4GB SMHS removed by T-mobile rep- cannot add back
A loyal T-Mobile customer for 11 years. T-Mobile rep incorrectly removedUnl Data 4GB SMHS- without my authorization. When reported the issue, T-Mobile rep added Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data + 10GB SMH - with a promise that I will NOT be charged $30 each month. Now, in July bill I see charges for $30 2x times and T-Mobile rep is NOT helping take it off also they are telling me that I cannot go back toUnl Data 4GB SMHS. What are my options. Please help. Can anyone explain the difference between the Simple Choice and Go5G 55 plans? I'm having trouble understanding the difference between Simple Choice and the various 55 plans, and a call to T-Mobile did not provide any useful information. I have two lines. I need overseas data and text. I don't care about temporary offers - e.g., 6 or 1 year of this or that. As far as I can tell, Go5G 55 is actually more expensive than what I have now.
grandfathered Simple Choice plan $25 (instead of $10) adding a line after 6
I have a grandfathered Simple Choice family plan ($120 for first 6 lines, and $10 each additional, up to 10 line total). I currently have 9 voice lines. Recently I tried to add a line with byod, and it shows $25 plus tax and fess, and the fine print says $20 per line, while both of which are unexpected. I thought grandfathered plan will stay at the rate unchanged? I have screenshot attached. I had a paid line (out of 6, so $10 a month), and I just cancelled less than a month ago. Does it cause a rate change of my grandfathered plan?Unable to change rate plan
This is the screen I get after clicking "Change My Plan" I was trying to see what other plan options I have and when I click "Change My Plan" I get taken to a page that says "You are not eligible for any other rate plans at this time." I don't understand why I would be unable to change plans? Does anyone know why I would not be able to change my plan...for reference, I have been with T-mobile for a billion years (so not in a contract), I currently have theSimple Choice Family Unlimited Talk & Text plan BUT I only have 1 line on it at this point, and I do currently have a payment arrangement set up for July 2 (not sure that is the issue but if it is, I can easily pay the balance now so that I can change my plan).
Simple Choice, considering Magenta
I currently have the Simple Choice plan with 6 phone lines and 3 connected devices. 1 phone line and 1 tablet was part of the Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us deal. I see that Magenta will be $160/month for the 6 phone lines, but how much will the 3 connected devices cost? I'm currently paying $20 for 3 connected devices since 1 of those connected devices is part of 2 Lines On Us deal.
