Hi So generally I have been pleased with T MOBILE internet. Some glitches.. but ook… BUT the BIGGESt GRIPE i Have is that the last 2 Fridays for around 8 hours the ENTIRE Internet AND Cell phone coverage has gone down in my area!!! NO WARNING and I was confused and stressed.. what was going on. It ruined my Friday having to drive 20 minutes away to get a signal to find out what happened. Then it happened AGAIN this Friday.. again, no warning. I have gottne very flippant answers from other customers about how T Mobile can't expect to "cater to my entitlement'.. UH what "Entitlement" ?? That I have reliable cell phone service at my home? Even the Energy Company has a courtesty to tell you when things are going down and appx time it will be restored. Can't we expect the same of TmOBILE? How long are these "Modernization upgrades going to be happening?540Visto2likes5ComentariosNo cell phone service in New Port Richey Fl 34654
I have been on the phone with Sprint/T-Mobile customer service, technical support, and hung up on or can't hear me during conversations with them for the last two days. As soon as I hit my neighborhood area I have no cell service nor can I get Internet on my cell phone. I've been told the tower is down for the last two days and nobody has an explanation or a timeframe of when it will be fixed except ASAP. This is very frustrating and I am one day away from dropping this company and going to Verizon. This is unacceptable my husband has lost multiple leads for his business due to this . I need an answer right now of when my service will have more than one bar located on my phone. I can't even openan appor listen to music on my phone when I take my dog for a walk and that is unacceptable I am furious right now. The only way I can do anything is if I'm on Wi-FiI pay way too much money on auto pay every month to go through this. I have done everything the technical help department has asked to no avail. So this must be issues with the tower.Has anyone else in this area has these issues? I need THE Sprint/T-Mobileto respond today and NOT FROM INDIA, MEXICO, OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY BESIDES THE US.158Visto2likes2ComentariosWhen will you complete updates to nearby tower?
When will you complete updates to the nearby cell tower? When I began using your service I had on average a 40 mbps download speed. I changed nothing and now during the day I average 1-2 mbps and 10 mbps in the evening. This has been occurring since November 2021. The story I get when I speak with your support is that they are upgrading the tower near me and once finished I will have the best service ever. But when? When will the upgrade be completed?1.3KViews1like3Comentarios5G Home Internet vs. phone data speeds
So I'm a Magenta Max customer and mostly happy with my service. We live in a town where the 5G can be very strong depending on time of day/which part of town you're in. So I started considering switching my home internet to T-Mobile's 5G Home Internet, and did some research. I turned off my phone's wifi to run speed tests on my phone's 5G data from inside my home. It varies a TON depending on the room and the time of day. I've seen download speeds as high as 300+ and upload speeds of about 6-8 (at the times you'd expect… late night or early morning) but as low as 6Mbps for downloads and 1 for uploads (during peak times). That lower number concerned me as I work from home during the day, participating in a lot of mandatory video calls. I can't have my internet just disappear during peakwork hours. A great price for home internet won't matter if I lose my job because I can't stay online on a Thursday afternoon. So I went to a T-Mobile outlet to ask an employee about it. The kid told me the phone data speeds are worse thanwhat I'd get with Home Internet because the wifi customers are "on a different tower." I'm no expert on this stuff, but this sounded made-up to me, like he just wanted me to feel better so I'd buy something. But maybe someone who knows more can confirm if the T-Mobile employee was correct: Are Home Internet speeds better than what I get from my T-Mobile 5G device in the same building, and if so, is it because they deliberately use different towers for that service, as this guy told me? I should add that this kid was very obviously trying to get me to sign up on the spot, showing me 1000+ speed tests on his device (irrelevant to me because I don't live at the T-Mobile store so my speed won't be the same). So I protected myself by leaving without signing up for the trial service, although I am still considering it. So anyone with better knowledge than me - and with no stake in trying to sell me something on commission - what's the real story here? Can I reasonably expect better speeds (and most importantly, no frequent drops in service while I'm working) then I get on a 5G mobile device from within the same residence? Thanks for any help!7.6KViews1like15Comentarios
