My gateway shows a device connected and I can't figure out what it is. Device name is: Shenzhen iComm Semiconductor CO. LTD Websearch indicates it could by a spy cam or listening device. Recently went through a breakup. My ex was making comments about how he could give me exact dates & times of speakerphone conversations I had in my bedroom. I have searched everywhere in the room,disabled the device on my wifi, changed router admin & wifi passwords, but the app doesn't give me an option to remove the unknown device completely. Upgraded and bought a new iPhone in a T-Mobile store on 04/22/2022 - I am unfortanely just now noticing after reviewing my yearly reports for tax season approaching, that there was a data line added to my services/bill on the same day, for an apple watch?! The charge was insignificant in cost enough for me to never notice too much of a difference, and the sales representative in the store explained to me the new bill amount and an increase being due to the monthly amount I would be charged for the iPhone payment plan option to pay month for a phone instead of paying in full. I am now trying to have the line removed but the customer service dept. has only tried to tell me I am wrong and that I activated this on my own MONTHS prior to 4/22/22, which is so far from true. I have only ever used my apple watch on wifi/connected to my phone via bluetooth. After reviewing my usuage overview for 2022, each month shows the additional line and every month has 0.00GB of data used. I found this information through my t-mobile account but yet the customer service reps I've spoken to (which has been several now) all seem incompentent and unable to find similar information to show that this change was unauthorized. In addition, the representatives only focus seems to be on conversion or a new sale, rather than doing actual customer service. What happens to customer service??? Anyone had similar experiences? What did you have to do to get T-Mobile to cooperate and help? Do I need to file claim with the Better Business Bureau you think? Anyone filed with the BBB before, and if so, did you have any good results from it? When I log into My T-Mobile (from various desktop browsers like Firefox, Chrome, or Safari), it never remembers my device. The home page says I have an "Unknown Device" The Phone tab says I have an iPhone 6s, which is incorrect. When I click "Not your device?" link and select the correct iPhone model/color/capacity, I see a "Confirm" popup ("Are you sure you want to update the phone for [my name] to [my model]?"). I click "YES" and briefly see a pink spinner, but the update doesn't take effect! 😮 This is not a super serious problem, and I'm admittedly a bit OCD, but it just bugs me that the website (phone thumbnail graphic) is still wrong every time I log in.😕 The funny thing is that my wife's device (secondary line on the same account) displays just fine. Hello, I bought Iphone se 2020 in Europe in Poland from a guy, that said it hada simlock. I think he got it from unknown source.I didn't know it was T-mobile sprint simlock. I just bought an unlocked S21 Ultra directly from Samsung. It works great, including the tmobile voicemail app and RCS through the Google messages app. It says I'm connected to 5G on the phone, and I get 150+mbps download from home on speedtest.net The problem is that thetmobile account website shows this: The problems with this is: Mostimportant: I have free phone repair insurance through my Uber Visa Signature credit card. In the past, when I filed a claim, they required a screenshot of the account to show that I have the device I'm filing a claim for on the tmobile account that I pay monthly through my credit card. I would have issues proving that I have an S21 Ultra on my tmobile account if it says "unknown device:" I'm worried I'm not getting the best speeds or roaming experience if I were to take a road trip in a rural setting. 150mbps+ from home is good enough in the major city that I live in, andI'm sure it'll be better if I get closer to the tmobile cell phone towerwhich is 3 blocks away. How do I get this phone to show as "Samsung S21 Ultra" instead of "unknown device"? It's extremely frustrating, I have major OCD and when I log into my account it drives me crazy that it shows a different device compared to what I really have. I know this doesn't impact my services but a mobile carrier should have it right. One thing I think I came to the conclusion and the engineers might need to fix this, is if you purchase an iPhone from Apple "Sim Free" it'll show a different type of iPhone. I used to have a "sim free" iPhone 11 Pro 256GB Space gray and online it would show that phone but say I have it the midnight green 64GB. I upgraded recently to the Max and it's doing the same thing! I get my phones from apple because with trade-in, and my friend who works for apple gets me a 15% discount it just makes sense for me to do it this way. Just extremely frustrating that the engineers at T-Mobile can't get it together to get this problem fixed. We used to have the option to select the device and save it, can we bring that back????
