I checked with the IMEI of a couple of phones, it says that the phone is not compatible with the t-mobile network, even though the phone is unlocked and supports the required bands for t-mobile. The phone is OnePlus Nord CE 5g. They are both purchased in India. So is there any way for them to be activated on the t-mobile network? Or will phones from other countries not work at all? Because they are both good unlocked phones with support of required bands. What else is needed?3.8KViews0likes3ComentariosWill unlocked phones work with T-Mobile Wifi calling ?
If I purchase an unlocked phone, for example an S22 Ultra unlocked version, will I be able to make Wifi calls on T-Mobile ? This is assuming I use a T-Mobile SIM with it, or eSIM, of course. The reason I ask is that I have no reliable cell coverage at home. Neither 3G/4G/5G offer reliable signals in all places in my home from any operator. A T-mobile cellspot in-home LTE tower also does not cover my entire home. The only thing that works reliably is Wifi calls, using a combination of 5 wireless access points. My current phone is a T-mobile version (Note 20 Ultra) and works with Wifi calls. I need my next phone to continue to work with Wifi calls. Some unlocked phones are available for significantly less than the T-mobile versions, for example the S22 Ultra version sold by Google on Fi is $700 vs $1200 on t-mobile.com . But will it work with T-mobile Wifi calling ?3.2KViews0likes12ComentariosCan I put T-mobile SIM Card from Galaxy S20+ into unlocked Z Flip 3 as is?
I have a T-mobile Galaxy S20+ and was gifted an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 3 (coming soon). Can I just put my current SIM card in the Unlocked phone as is and it should work fine, or do I need T-mobile to do something? Thanks in advance.1.4KViews0likes4ComentariosOnePlus 8T service
I have a OnePlus 8T that needs out-of-warranty repair.I did not get T-mobile insurance to cover it. Contacting OnePlus was the worst customer care experience I can recall. The manufacturer said that since the device was purchased through T-mobile they would not be supporting repair requests. They insist on referring me to T-mobile to do the repair. I know T-mobile does not perform device repairs so this was a dead end. Escalating with the manufacturer did not yield any better recommendations. They claim if the phone was purchased unlocked, then they would be able to perform the repair. I am going to the Better Business Bureau. Does this mean that if anyone buys another OnePlus device through T-Mobile they can never get it fixed? If that is the case why would anyone ever purchase a OnePlus device from T-Mobile again? Are all manufacturers phones purchased through t-mobile similar dead-end policy?Solved145Visto0likes1Comentariocustomer service it's so outdated
