Dear Team, I own a Samsung Note 8 SM-N950U bought from T-Mobiles when I was in USA. Currently I am in India and post Oreo update the option to turn on/off VoLTE is hidden. Now, when I try to use a sim card from a national network provider called JIO which only works on VoLTE enabled phones, I am unable to make any calls or send sms. When I checked the network status in the phone it says VoLTE is disabled. Kindly tell me if there is a way to enable VoLTE on my device.Solved1.3KViews1like8ComentariosCould unlocked T-Mobile V60 activate VoLTE/Wifi Calling?
Hi I have an unlocked T-Mobile LG V60 thinQ(LM-V600TM), and now I am using it in Taiwan. But I cannot see the VoLTE option(toggle) and turn on the WiFi calling. Any way to solve this? To help me activate these functions. (VoLTE was available in Taiwan.) Thank you so much.1.1KViews0likes2ComentariosVoLTE support for Realme under BYOD
I just purchased the Realme Master Edition GT (RMX3363). It supports VoLTE, wifi calling, and all Tmo (and legacy Sprint) bands except 71. Is there any way to petition for VoLTE and wifi calling support to be recognized on phones like this? The Tmobile BYOD checker says this phone doesn't have VoLTE, but it does. I've used other off brand phones (currently using one, but not going to call out the make/model here, just in case Tmo goes out of their way to block/ban such phones) from other parts of the world on Tmobile with no problem on VoLTE and wifi calling support.1KViews0likes3ComentariosMMS fine; SMS stopped entirely [SOLVED]
I already solved this problem; just writing it down because I couldn't find anyone else who had it. I'm using T-Mobile (LTE, not 5G) in the US on a Fairphone 3, which is a European model of phone. (I'm not sure it's relevant; I'm including it because it might be.) At some point after I started using the service, I was entirely unable to send SMS messages, but could send MMS, so I could send group text messages and texts with attachments, just not one-on-one texts. (I could receive SMS messages just fine.) I worked around this problem by attaching an image that was a blank white rectangle, and explaining what I was doing, when not using alternate chat applications. Then I poked through my settings for a bit and discovered that I had left VoLTE disabled (to fix a problem I can't remember the nature of anymore, except that I remember it working). I re-enabled it, and then the next time I tried to send an SMS message as a test, my messaging app (Signal) made a request to send the message, which I of course granted. It sent just fine after that. I'm writing this down because a couple of searches I made while trying to troubleshoot the issue returned no useful results, and I want to keep that from happening to any other users if I can.299Visto1like1ComentarioVoLTE in Japan?
GSM-phones built for the US (and GSM) aren't compatible with 2G in Japan which is based on CDMA.So I'd like to know can I use VoLTE in Japan when roaming using Tmobile's roaming agreements with the carriers in Japan? And if so, does that work fortxt messaging as well? If VoLTE is a no go should I be prepared to use VoIP alternatives (I.e. with a different phone number)? Thanks! I have a Pixel 3XL on Tmobile geting 4G LTE. It's not VOLTE compatible, Google does enable VOLTE until the 3A line. How will this effect me after the June 30 VOLTE requirement after June 30th? I don't really understand the issue. 6/30 is about shutting down 3G. I'm on 4G LTE, but somehow the lack of VOLTE seems to be an issue.117Visto0likes1Comentario
