Re: Problem with gateway losing just 5G signal
Interesting and explains a lot. Tmobile gives a free 15 day trial. For me I kept my old service "just in case". In the first 2 months the service was great, so I dropped Xfinity. By month 3, service began getting iffy. Now I'm lucky to watch a TV program without buffering, or use the internet without pauses, or talk on the landline (via VOIP) without breaks. Talked to server CS reps which pointed me to 2 optional towers. But no way to instruct Gateway to not use the closest tower (even though they confirmed several work tickets have been issued on that tower). Oddly 5G signal is great on mobile phone and I have about used all mobile Hot Spot data as a substitute for the Gateway. Not returning to Xfinity, and AT&T does not offer fiber in our neighborhood (though they charge the same). But I'm looking for a better option.35Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Why can't I watch Fubo, Hulu, or Sling
Can't speak about FUBO, but never had an issue with other streaming services (Paramount +, Netflix, Sling, Friendly and a few more)...when T Mobile is working. Here lately the signal is in and out all day and night at anytime. Thought it was during heavy cell usage or internet times. But my wife watches a lot of movies at night and it is off and on throughout the night.64Visto0likes0ComentariosSwitching to Magenta Max 55+ for Free Phone upgrade
After about 4 years, I have decided to upgrade our phones. Under the current promotion we get $200 more each for the upgrade if we have Magenta Max. It was not worth the upgrade for the other benefits we will not use, but with the extra upgrade it was worth it. However, it shows the upgrade will not go into effect until my next billing cycle and I'm afraid the upgrade promotion may be expired by then. My question, how long after I initiate the upgrade will it take for the increase upgrade benefit to take effect? Or, can I cancel the upgrade and return to my old plan? Because without the extra $200 trade-in allowance, Magenta Max is not worth the cost to us.1.8KViews0likes1Comentario
