Re: 5G Gateway
T-Mobile gateways function as both modems and routers. T-Mobile supplies one of two 5G gateways, the Nokia and the Arcadyan. The TP-link instructions usually have two options, "quick setup using the WPS button" and "quick setupusing your web browser".I don't believe either gateway has a WPS button, so you should choose setup using web browser. You need to explicitly follow the instructions and there shouldn't be any problems. Another option is to download the TP-link "Tether" app and it will guide you through the process. The app is available both in the Play Store and the App Store.5Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: IP Location issue

This is only my 2nd day of their service. Good luck! In West Virginia, I always get an IP for Pennsylvania. It is drawback for any streaming services that offer locals but don't expect T-Mobile to change how their service works and where their backbones are for network connectivity just to provide local IP addresses. I previously posted this in the MLB.TV blog. Reading the MLB.TV terms and conditions, we cannot "spoof" our location to avoid blacked-out games. Violation is a $100 fine and loss of account. Here's what worries me...depending on the location t-Mobile's chooses for me (varies from Philly to Pittsburgh to Atlanta), I get a different game blacked out. I technically violate the MLB.TV rules simply by rebooting my Askey gateway and getting a different location. Any thoughts??17Visto4likes0ComentariosRe: MLB.TV Help Guide
MLB.TV is a nice t-Mobile perk and is much appreciated. However, reading the MLB.TV terms and conditions, we cannot "fool" our location to avoid blacked-out games. It is tower #139207 and has bands 12 (700 Mhz) and 71 (600 Mhz). However, this tower is no longer listed on cellmapper.net6Visto1like0ComentariosRe: How to handle lack of WPS button on new Home Internet Router
In addition to WPS, most extenders have a second option for connecting through a web interface. Check your extender model start-up instructions booklet or Google for the manufacturer extender "support" page or for a YouTube video.29Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Home internet service IPv6 traffic is all filtered even when using a Netgear LTE router. No port forwarding. Plz fix!
@Reblog I have been holding off with this observation and thought you might have some insight into the problem. I am responsible for posting documents/pictures, etc. from home to a remote server. Over the years I have used FTP to easily transfer these files. However, since I switched from a slow DSL connection to T-Mobile HI (ASKEY), I no longer can move the files. I used Windows 10 File Explorer in split screen mode (remote on one screen and local files on second) and simply clicked and dragged the files from one screen to the other. Now when I try to connect with T-Mobile HI, I get the following error message...any thoughts? I have permissions on the remote FTP server.5Visto0likes0Comentarios
