Re: apple tv
The easiest way to set up Netflix on us, or Apple TV is by logging into the T-Mobile app clicking the account tab, then clicking the manage data and add-ons button and scrolling down to services. Look for Apple TV or Netflix that says "on Us" and check them off. once you save it, will take you to a page where you can proceed forward to activate your subscriptions. AppleTV is very easy to set up from an Apple device. Once you click the activation link, it will route you to the AppleTV app and automatically create an account for you using your Apple ID, Netflix works the same way once you save and click the activation link for Netflix, it will take you to a sign-up page where you can either login using an existing account or create a new account depending on what replan you are on you may be eligible for a discount on premium Netflix packages if you are not interested in that then just select the free version. Same steps are applicable via website or app11Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: is there a transfer fee
There is not a fee for moving active service from one phone to another unless you are in need of a new SIM card. Unless your new phone is e-SIM only, you do have to speak to a representative or go to a retail location in order to activate your new phone. Literally take the SIM card out of the old phone, put it into the new one, and your same number/ service is immediately on the new phone. If you plan opening a separate T-Mobile account when you turn 18 and absolutely want to keep your numbers then the only way to do so is to have your account holder call customer service by dialing 611, speak to representative and do a "changeof responsibility". The account holder will give consent to release the line and then you will be required to have credit ran in order to establish a separate account with the same phone numbers. When you do a change of responsibility you are not considered a new customer and are not eligible for any new customer or AAL promotions. If that sounds like a hassle then I'd recommend getting new numbers. You can easily set up a new account in person or through customer care.127Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: tmobile is hot garbage!!!
There are several factors that determine the quality of your service but the main things: what rate plan you are on, what phone you have, what area you live in. For example, if you live an area with excellent coverage, have a iPhone 14or S23, and are on Go5g Plus or the now grandfathered Magenta Max then you are going to have the best possible premium data experience possible because these two plans are the only plans ever offered by any carrier that is truly unlimited without throttling. If you live in the same area, with the same high tier phones but have Essentials then your service experience will be significantly lesser quality than compared to Go5g Plus or Magenta Max because this rate plan throttles (slows down) at 50gb of data used. Unfortunately every single carrier's unlimited service throttles with the exception of the two T-Mobile plans mentioned. If you live in an area with excellent coverage and have the best current plan but you are using a Samsung Galaxy S10 or lower or iPhone 11 or lower (these issues aren't limited to just Samsung or Apple it is applicable to any older device) then the network issues you are experiencing are likely to be caused by the phone you are using. Plain and simple is you really do get what you pay for.17Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: I want to leave TMobile.... and need number transfer pin
syaoran wrote: If you are the PAH. You can call Customer Care at 611 and have your PIN reset. Then you can take that PIN and use it to port out. This is incorrect. Just like Verizon, AT&T, Cricket, Metro by T-mobile, and several other carriers, in order to port-out from T-Mobile you need a specific PIN called a Number Transfer PIN or transfer PIN. This is a unique code used for switching carriers and IS NO LONGER THE SAME AS YOUR ACCOUNT SECURITY PIN. It's easily obtainable by logging in on the t-mobile app or on the website.1.7KViews0likes0ComentariosRe: What happened to my information before I got on a Magenta 55+ Plan
T-Mobile retail and care representatives do not have access to more than three months of your most recent bills and one year to date of account memo history. Since these records are the customers personal information, the customer has the ability to go further back themselves via online or in the app. If you are the account holder, sign into your T-Mobile account via the app, go the "Bill" section, scroll all the way down andclick "view account activity", here you can see and filter every purchase or payment you have made to date including Sprint too. If the account which you are attempting to find records for no longer exists then those records are non recoverable. Y punto.9Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Go5G Plus Plan
In order to take advantage of the "New in Two" promotion you are required to upgrade your rate plan specifically to Go5g Plus. JUMP! vs New in Two can be confusing so here are the differences. JUMP! isa feature that comes included with P360 device protection which allows customers who are financing their phoneto early upgrade at 50% paid off or 12 months into their 24 month EIP agreement but is not stackable with device offers (meaning your new phone will not be eligible for a discount monthly upon turning in equipment; JUMP! is an early giveback not a trade-in). New in Two guarantees that in 24 months whencustomers who upgraded to the Go5g Plusplan AND also purchased a new phone on and/orafter 04/23/2023 got a new phone (so on or after 04/23/2025) that they can take advantage of the same promotions as new and/ or existing customers who are activating service orAAL. Keep in mind that promotions are always catered to the base model. For example, iPhone 14 on Us promotion requires you trade in an eligible phone and AAL in order to receive a possible MAXIMUM payout of $830 off over 24 months. You are able to pick any iPhone 14in the series but the phone that is really "on Us" is the base model which retails at $830. If you wanted an iPhone 14 Pro Max which is $1099.99 retail, your phone would not be "on Us" it would be $830 off of $1099.99 over 24 months. A customer with Go5g Plus can take advantage of this promotion without having to AAL with the New in Two feature. Whereasa customer that is on any other qualifying rate plan will likely only be eligible for 50% off of their phone in 2025.168Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: this needs to be addressed T-Mobile.
There is actually no other carrier outside of T-Mobile that has a specific rate plan that does not throttle. Every company has unlimited data but every single company also throttles you. When T-Mobile came out with Magenta Max (starts at $85 for 1 line and autopay) they became the first company that offered a truly unlimited dataplan with no throttling. That plan actually became grandfathered today along with Magenta but will still be available online only for new customers who do their activation themselves. The new plan that will replace Magenta Max starting today 04/23/23 is called Go5g Plus which is $90 for 1 line with autopay. The fact is you pay for what you get. If you're concerned about slower speed then you need to be willing to pay for premium service features or connect to Wi-Fi more often.45Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Why so much data usage compared to old service?
T-Mobile's Home Internet LITE is not worth it. It is meant to be used for customers who live in very rural areas where there is absolutely no other options for internet service. That is why the cost ranges from $50-$500 Keep in mind that T-Mobile is the first and only carrier to have Internet that works usingcellular data so no it is not the same as any other internet provider and the quality of speed varies based on your proximity to the tower. Nor do they guarantee speeds to you because of this. T-Mobile Home Internet LITE plans are recommended for people who are doing bare minimum such as office work. IT IS NOT AT ALL APPROPRIATE FOR STREAMING SHOWS, VIDEOS, MOVIES,OR ONLINE GAMING as doing things like that even for 2.5 hours can eat 300gbs of data.31Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: I want to leave TMobile.... and need number transfer pin
This is easiest way to get a transfer PIN The easiest way to get a number transfer PIN is on the T-Mobile app. If you do not have the app download it. If you do not have an online account you need to create one. If you have an online account but do not remember your password then you need to reset it. Once signed into the app click on the "more" tab, click "profile settings", click "line settings", using the drop down menu select the line you want to port-out and click "request a transfer PIN". There is no carrier that can get you a transfer PIN in a retail store. Transfer PINs are only obtained online or on the app at any carrier. Please note some carriers can provide you with a transfer PIN via 611 customer service but you must be the account holder notan authorized user and be able to confirm your normal 4 to 10 digit account PIN number in order to verify your identity over the phone. Your PIN number is something the account holder would have created themselves at the time of account activation. If you don't know your account PIN you can reset it via 611 and you must be able to receive a one-time code to the primary line. If your phone is without data, damaged, etc. and unable to receive a text then the only other option is to go to the retail location, take 2 types of non-expired United States photo ID with you, have the rep verify them and have them call RSL for you. All the in store rep needs to do is tell the support line that you need help resetting your PIN and that they checked your IDs. The support line will not want to speak to retail representative as your account PIN is your personal information so the rep will just hand the phone back to you once they are done.544Visto1like0ComentariosRe: prison calls
Yes you should receive prison calls. My best friend whom of which also has T-Mobile receives about 10-15 calls a day from her child's father, sometimes even as late as 9:30pm. She does not put money on his account herself as she has no interest in chit chatting with him so he calls her with money someone else has placed on the account. If you have the scam shield app, turn it off and/ or manually add the phone number to the list of approved callers. Double check that your phone does not have "filter unknown callers" enabled. Make sure the contact is saved. Make sure the phone numberis not blocked in your contact list. Other trouble shooting methods after all of that is done and the issue persists is to just simply go into the store (a corporate location because it truly does make a drastic difference customer service quality wise compared to a third-party retailer)(also observe the representative and see if they even seem knowledgeable and willing to help) because it much easier than speaking to customer service. When you are in the store ask the representative if they can check your features. Have them check the line you are specifically having an issue with for any scam blocking SOC codes. You also probably want to make sure your rate plan supports collect calls. Plans such as the $10 T-Mobile connect prepaid plan will not. If you have an android don't let someone persuade you into getting an issue specifically due to this issue because the type of phone you have is likely not the cause.187Visto0likes0Comentarios
