Re: Conditional Call Forwarding - DISASTER
I have a ticket open about this same issue, and posted about it: Conditional call forwarding still broken | T-Mobile Community very recently. Nobody else has commented yet. T-Mo support called me back VERY late last night (because those schlumps in Manila can't figure out timezones) trying to tell me "the engineers" were trying to blame my phone for being "no longer compatible with call forwarding" Bunkum. It worked fine a year or less ago, they are LYING and making excuses to just get me off their desk.16Visto0likes0ComentariosConditional call forwarding still broken
I used to be able to set call forwarding when "unavailable", using the built-in menus in the phone app (because <star><star>62<star>... didn't work as it was supposed to.) (bloody editor won't let me insert asterisks) Now neither method works, getting "invalid MMI code" or "unknown response from network". This is on a generic unlocked Android I've been otherwise successfully using for years. Two years ago, this type of forwarding did work just fine. People in Reddit are complaining about it too: https://old.reddit.com/r/tmobile/comments/1ggfrxw/call_forwarding_not_working/ When the F is tmo going to FIX THIS?? _H*41Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: How to reach T-Force ?
> " …contact TMO either by call or by Facebook or Twitter...calling in will land you with tier 1 support where FB/Twitter starts you with tier 2 support." That is flat-out DISCRIMINATION. Plenty of customers don't do FB or Twitter, for very sensible reasons. FIX IT. Get some accessible path set up already.79Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: T-Mobile Experts aren't experts. What can be done?
How come there isn't any good communication between TMo staffers here and the people at 611?? Customers frequently raise very valid points here, and the ideal path would include immediate retraining so callcenter reps aren't giving out bogus/inconsistent answers. They could also use to be more willing to admit when they don't know and escalate appropriately.18Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Phone stolen, how do i lock sim card?
Think about that for a minute. If someone has two-factor auth enabled for their FB or twitter account, that doesn't really help them if the phone is gone, right? Like I said in another thread, this sounds *discriminatory* against those who avoid social media. If T-force is so all-powerful, WHY isn't there a more straightforward way of reaching them?? Sorry, I know that doesn't help with recovery, but suppliers of advice need to keep the range of possible circumstances in mind, and T-Mo needs to be a little more accomodating about this.30Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: Incapsula Error Code 16 - Access Denied T-Mobile.Com
Since this is something that affects everyone, T-Mo customers or not, personal account details are irrelevant and it is inappropriate to ask for them, even indirectly. The observations people have raised in this thread should be AMPLE evidence that something's wrong. I realize this doesn't fit your script, but please try to see it from the viewpoint of an outside observer and pass the info on where it needs to go.32Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Incapsula Error Code 16 - Access Denied T-Mobile.Com
Incapsula is a *liability*, not an asset. You guys would be well-advised to switch "protection" sevices asap, to one that actually uses realistic criteria to determine what an attack is. Lack of user-agent, for example, is NOT a criterion for rejecting a browser, but the people at Incapsula don't understand simple stuff like that. Get rid of them, they're only going to keep causing headaches.22Visto0likes0Comentarios
