Re: 5G Home Internet Suddenly Very Unstable And Technical Support Is Essentially Useless
50$ a month for service that is worse than dial-up and disconnects and resets connection regularly. They clearly should not have rolled out this service the way that they have. I have had this service for about half a year and it has had severe ups and downs though as time went on it just kept getting worse. It has been in a state that has been completely unusable and unreliable to the point where I am practically forced to cancel their service. I have a folder with months of speedtests where I am averaging under 1Mbps...with some being unable to even put the speed on the scale and they show up as 0.00Mbps. Checking email is the only thing that can be done and only when it isn't disconnecting. Web surfing is a horrible experience as any images or complicated web sites might not even load properly. Gaming has been impossible with occasional moments where I think its ok and during gaming it will lose connection or drop speed back down. I know that they won't do it but they should give refunds to customers in any areas where they obviously could not give the kind of service they are advertising, or at least stop billing customers in those areas until they actually do make it so that what they say they sold is actually what all their customers are getting. They don't even have the courtesy to make any kind of support ticket or ability to cancel the service for 5G home internet service on their website.20Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Terrible internet service with no support.
It feels like a big scam really. Signal is always excellent (max bars), but service is horrible 24/7. I thought with time it would get better but apparently they are just collecting money from customers without addressing the problems with their home internet service. I was irritated when the average bandwidth was around 1-3 Mbps with occasional disconnections yet I gave them the benefit of the doubt. In fact the connection has been getting worse and worse where it disconnects practically every few minutes with average bandwidth being below 1 Mbps. Charging 50$ a month for this is like theft considering that they cannot even maintain a service that is usable for what people use the internet for. Even with low resolution, youtube keeps pausing and loading regularly...and many times graphics and links won't even load on websites. It does seem that the only people who pay attention to the issues is other customers which is really sad. I have read some of the complaints and some people want to report them to the BBB and even bring up a class action suit. I assume some people have decent connection but it is apparent that many customers have similar issues.12Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: My TMobile 5G Router/Gateway based home-internet access is dropping randomly almost daily now in zip:07746
T-Mobile home internet is a total scam. They charge 50$ per month for what is for the majority of the time slower and less reliable service than any other service available from competitors. Average speed during most of the day doesn't even break 1Mbps and it is regularly and consistently disconnecting sometimes for minutes at a time. This makes it basically unusable for just about anything you would need the internet for such as gaming and watching videos. With its consistently slow speeds and disconnections I would even have to say that even web surfing is a terrible experience with very noticeable slowdowns and extremely slow web page loading. 50$ per month is a huge ripoff for a service that really is only good for at best checking email. Keep in mind that this is with a very consistent "excellent" signal connection on the device. I am sure there are going to be a few lucky people in some areas with upgraded towers and low congestion who will be pleased with the service but from what I have read and my own personal experience that would be very limited. although, even at its best performance, 50$ per month is still too high even if the service worked consistently when compared to performance of its competitors. Its like paying for a luxury sports car but being given an economy class car that stops working every few minutes.11Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: T-mobile 5g home internet forcing to tower with no data issues/changing towers/bands
I wonder if anyone from T-Mobile actually reads these...they would instantly know that they have a problem that needs to be fixed asap otherwise they are basically cheating their customers. They should not even be charging customers until the service is satisfactory in line with their promises as well as customer expectations.19Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Horrible Connection
Same here, have the 5G home wifi but the connection is so inconsistent. At best I am getting speeds comparable to DSL but majority of the time it approaches Dial-up speeds and isn't even usable for anything. I am thinking that I may have to go back to a cable internet connection if T-Mobile cannot do something about this issue anytime soon. I have tried everything that their support suggests too with no change in the quality of the connection, even relocating the modem despite always having an excellent signal. In its current state I would not recommend anyone to get the T-Mobile 5G home internet no matter what kind of offer they give. There is no way having mostly dial-up speeds is worth 50$ a month. T-Mobile from my experience has been challenging to get any kind of customer support from too and I was shocked to find out they have a fee for asking for assistance in their store. They really need to add a customer support online chat service or at least some kind of online support messaging system on their website for those of us who cannot spend hours waiting on a telephone line for assistance.8Visto0likes0Comentarios
