360 Protection Question

I did not know I have had Protection 360 since 10/2019 because when I bought my phones in 2019 I had a customer service rep who did not explain anything to me. I lost my phone last week and immedicately went and bought a new phone. Can I file a claim with Protection 360 and use it towards the phone I just bought? Also why wouldnt the T-Mobile customer service rep who looked up my account tell me I have the Protection 360. He also told me nothing, and him and his co-worker repeatedly sat there talking about how they hate their jobs and are leaving instead of informing me of the $16/month payment with the phone I bought, Instead I'm paying $50, and looking to see if I had any coverage.

    Have you not reviewed your bill at any time. On your bill you should have seen a charge for the insurance coverage.
