Being ripped off by Tmobile.
Charged for a free line $30.00 a month for almost a year. On my play was my daughter and Grandson. The both have apple phones. Grandson is leaving plan, and mother is going to leave is Sept. Went to store to find out what my daughters cost would be., and to question this fourth line. Store said because daughter had authorization she had added line. They tried to issue partial refund but didnt have the approval to do so. Sent to another store, They couldnt either, Called Tmobile customer service. They realized this was suppose to be a FREE phone line that had never been activated or used. Promised credit from Dec to Now, and a upgrade replacement for free. Sent me to store. When I got there they wanted me to pay off phone for $80.00. The phone was a Free trade in from Sprint before the take over. (Have I been paying for this free phone?) At thirty dollars a month for free line (counting months they give cred for (Sept-Dec), They want me to pay $80 to pay off current +the 90$ dollars the wouldnt give credit for , thats $ 170. To be able to switch phones , on a GRATIS Phone. I would have to pay for new phone. Everyone I talked to 7 employees over two days gives a different explanation. How many people are you charging for a gratis line then refusing refund? I'm tired of customer service offering a partial refund with a take it or nothing threat, I'm 66 and had to physically go to three stores (one twice).

Just got ripped off by tmobile up until now was very happy. The free tablet is far from being free it's basically a con job. It will cost not only taxes but $20 a month to use your own wifi plus $38 to hook up to it. So guess what this tablet will cost u approximately $533.

Same. I just realized that I have been being charged $35/mo for the last 16 months for a supposed “free phone line” that has never been used.

Scam company knowing senior citizens are vulnerable. Free phone offer, checked it out. Sold on a new flip phone, storevthen offered me freevpromotiin forbthatvweek, ear budsvand a galaxy watch . My budgetvwas $115 max. Ran the numbers with sales rep on piece of paper in store he told me that I'd meet my goal no problem after signing up for auto pay. What they don't tell you is additional cost forbinsurancecwhich I jevervaccepted and a fee for buds and watch I alo decidedvsincebthty werevdo helpful to get the homev internrt box which was around?50/mo
First month bill arrived via text doublevwhat I wasvtold called CS, very. Icevon phone she checkedvevery5hing and told me it takesvupbto 3 billing cyclesvforvall the promotions to catch up and not to worry. They balancevoutbto where bill should be. 2nd bill month2, anothervhighrtvbill $218 , not $115 . This CS very friendly, but checked and told me sll these extras I'm being billed for like watch line, insurance etc...eliminating insurance she got it down to $171/mo. Still not what my budget is. I then had her putting a complaint for me and request mailing of my bill so I can review it on paper. I know if I hope to store they are going to hit Meredith somevextra charges for canceling. They are useless as well due to high turnover in local stores and barely understand some of them. Bad experience continues but bad taste for Tmobil haunts me still. Also domeonevisvdipposed to make contact from its Corp office. Nothing so far. They lovebto text us and more confusing especially for seniors

how long were they being paid on. and usually the “free” phone is tied to something else..like another phone..so as long as the payments are being made on that other phone you get the credits for the free one..with that being said..if you pay off that paid for phone prior to the agreement then whatever is left for credits for the free phone go away and then you must pay for it.
worst case contact TMO through one of their social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter and send them a direct message..do not post on their main page.
FB/Twitter=tier 2 support
call=tier 1 support.

It’s for billing purposed.
for easier explanation I am going to use small numbers.
Regular Price for 3 lines is $10. line 1 $5, line 2 $3, and line 3 $2 for a total of $10.
Promotion they will do it like this line $1 $5, line 2 $2, and line 3 $1 for total of $8 which you are in fact getting the third line free.
