Cancelling Post-paid plans
I am on a post-paid plan, and would like to cancel my services so I can change to a different phone carrier. Who do I contact for this? I did not see an option for that on the website.
are you trying to take your current number with you or starting new? if bringing it with you contact the carrier you are planning on going to and ask them the steps needed to do this..if you just up and cancel you dont keep your number..
If you’re taking your number, you will want to port the number a couple of days before the end of your billing cycle so you don’t incur additional charges since Tmobile doesn’t prorate.
After the port request is gone through that’s when you call Tmobile to end service and make sure your phone is unlocked.
