Math doesn't add up
Dear Customer service,
I am new to T-Mobile and I am enjoying the service. But I have a few questions concerning my account and the invoices. I am on the Go5g 55+ for 2 lines for 90.00 plus 11.25 each for a total of the month for 112.50. I got a trade in credit of 275.00 for each I phone 13 pro for a total credit of 550.00. The cost of the new phones I phone 15 pro is 1099.99 each for a total of 2199.98. I also recieved P716 Apple Activate ID 240197 which is 45.84 - 23.13 = 22.71 for each phone. If you take 23.13 and multiply by 24 months equals 555.12 for each iphone for a total of 1,110.25 add with 550.00 (trade in credit for phone) a grand total credit of 1,660.25 for both phones. Now the cost of the news phones is 2199.98 and subtract 1,660.25 equals 539.73 or what I owe for both phones. That is not what my statement is saying. If you divide this 539.73 by half which is 269.86 for each phone. Then divide that by 24 months I should be paying 11.24 each month for each phone. But I am being charged 22.71 for each phone.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Gracias,
Sharon Raymer

This is basically a user to user forum with some Tmobile moderation that doesn't have account access so your best bet is to contact Tmobile support using messenger on one of their social media accounts like Facebook or Twitter.

You have to watch them as got my daughter iphone15 max and same price and had a iphone11 trade in and went to store and they gave us 800.00 trade in for it and her phone always had case and screen protector on it and store checked it out worked fine checked the thing to make sure no water damage and now 4 months later charging me full price because Tmobile warehouse said had water damage in it and if you have water damage inside the electronic components would short and not work we all know that so now I have to pay full price and Tmobile lost a 19 year customer said they couldn’t do anything.

Promotional credits can be pretty confusing between what is given up front and what is offered overall. I appreciate you sharing your promotional code and the math, so it is easier to see what you are looking at.
The promotional code you provided tells me that you got a promotion of $830 off of the new phone(s) with trade in and a new line(s). $830 total promo value per line means that we are honoring the trade in value of your device plus some extra to total $830. The trade in value is applied to the account as a one-time credit right away and the extra is applied over 24 months. If you did not get the trade in value of your phone up front, you would be paying 11.25 or so per month for each phone.
Sine the $275 is applied up front the math is a little different. You got $275 when we received per phone your trade in devices. $830-275= leaves 555 over 24 months = 23.13 credit. Math: New phone price 1099.99-remaining promotional credit 555= new installment payment of phone 544.99 /24 months= 22.71.
It shakes out to more per month, but you do get a total of $830 in credits for your trade in device and makes the final price of the new iPhone $269.99. I hope this makes a little more sense.
