Moto G 5G won't receive calls

got my Moto G 5G directly from T-Mobile. I did NOT get a new SIM card with it… just moved the SIM from my old phone…

Started out just fine, but after a couple of days, I was not able to receive any calls. The calls just roll to voicemail, which of course, really angers my wife…

So.. any thoughts? It seems to happen either when on WIFI or not. I saw some of the other comments on here and I don't see a setting for VO LTE. I HAVE switched WIFI calling off… no change…

It seems stupid since it was supposed to be a deal from T-Mobile… I moved the SIM back to my old phone and when putting it back, it seems to work now, but I know it’ll probably just be a matter of time before i can’t receive calls again...

  • I just upgraded from Moto G 5G to The REVVL 6X 5G phone my phone had been working from Sunday to late yesterday (Monday) sometime, now I can't call out or receive calls. My man and I are on the same plan, he took his Sim card out of his phone that is on our plan and put in his old T-Mobile simcard and ever since I think that's when my phone quit working. But why?!

    Hey Joe,

Sorry I am late to the party here, but I am curious if you still have issues with your incoming calls. Putting the SIM card back in the old phone is a great troubleshooting test and I assume that the calls continued to work there. Since the issue didn't follow the SIM card, it usually means that it has to do with the device itself encountering an error or issue. I would love to know how things are going and help out if you are still seeing problems.

  • calls wise it shouldnt matter if the sim card was old or new..data wise it would make a difference if its a sim card out of a older 4G only phone..then you would only pull in 4G and not 5G..
