Still receive 2021 Apple Trade P3 credits after using 2022 iPhone 14 trade-in deal?
Hola,
Last year I used the 2021 Apple Retail Trade P3 promotion to receive 24 bill credits when trading in my iPhone - I am still 'owed' 12 of those credits now, and would like to use this year's promotion to trade in my phone and get the iPhone 14. Will the new 2022 bill credits stack with the 2021 credits for the next year, or will I lose the 2021 promotion credits once I take the new promo?
Gracias.
On a single line, it appears that maybe they do require the higher priced MAX line. I don't know why it would make a difference but that seems to be the only difference between your situation and mine. Perhaps T-Mobile wants to make more money before "subsidizing" a $1000 phone?
I would probably try contacting T-Force on Facebook or Twitter.

Meant to 'like' this answer, not mark it as THE answer since there are still questions around this thread. But I guess I can't undo marking it as the answer? Silly forum.

Yeah, I was going to suggest that!! That's the only difference I can think of. My plan is two Max 55+ lines, and I was told I was eligible for the full $1000 without changing my plan. Seems like a silly rule, and I wonder where (if anywhere) that's actually documented.

EDIT: Wrong promo code listed- should be P3 promo.
To address the actual topic of this post, I didn't talk to anyone about the remaining 7 credits from my P16 promo. I did however screenshot the terms and conditions of said promo and nowhere did it say if the EIP was paid off early or the phone was traded that credits will be lost. I would assume though that if the EIP is paid in full, the credits will continue as billing credits for the duration. I guess I will know for sure within a month or 2.
As for the poster above me, I am not sure why you are having an issue. I am also on Max 55+ and my order went through without an issue. My Apple.com checkout info shows the correct $1000 credit. As you can see by my plan info, it shows $150/mth- That's 3 lines on Max 55+ minus the Autopay credits. When did you attempt to order yours? I had heard that people Friday were having problems with all MAX options except for the non-discounted and most expensive MAX option.

I thought they were treated the same as well. After I selected "Finance through t-mobile", it offered me the option to upgrade to Magenta Max or keep Magenta Max 55+, but the "smaller" print indicated I would only receive $600 trade-in if I chose to stay with my current plan. I would not get the remaining $399. PERHAPS it is because I already have a promotion in place? In any case, I've made my peace with it. I tried again to be sure, and have attached a screen shot of the disappointing news.

An update on this, in case anyone else is in my situation… Following the lead of jamesdean above, I also canceled my original order and attempted to place another order with the t-mobile financing option. However, although the promo info says Magenta Max plans, apparently the Magenta Max 55+ plan does not qualify for this promo. 😔 Sooo, I'm back to just getting my $600 trade-in credit for my iPhone 13 Pro, and hoping that they don't stop giving me my remaining 12 monthly credits from last year's purchase.🤞
That's very concerning - what leads you to believe that Max 55+ doesn't qualify? That's the plan I'm on, and I was able to verify my T-Mobile info via Apple and their system said that my service lines were "already eligible." I placed an order that states I will receive the full $1000 trade-in credit and no changes to my lines were required. It has always been my understanding that Max 55+ is treated the same way as Max for promotions.

I just called the t-mobile customer service again and explained what is going on. the representative checked with promotion specialist and she confirmed the previous promotion credit will stay. 2021 Apple Trade P3 is through apple and T-Mobile provided with Apple. When I purchased the phone last year, actually I called t-mobile to see how the promo works, but the t-mobile representative didn't know about the promo and couldn't see on their side since it was through apple only. This time it is same and she said both promotion credit should stay and will not be affected.
Also she confirmed the phones I purchased last year are fully paid condition. So I think whatever I purchase from Apple directly is considered fully paid since trade-in itself pays off most value of the phone and the rest will is considered as paid with downpayment we are making in the first place.
So now I canceling the original order with apple trade-in $720 credit and placed another order with t-mobile financing option which will provide total $1,000 credit after trade-in.
good luck All~!

I called t-mobile in this morning and their answer was same. However as I searched google, I see it was stackable last year. check the links below.
Maybe they changed their policy this year, but it seems it doesn’t make sense to remove last year’s credit. For this reason, I purchased phone 14 from apple directly without móvil promotion. But not sure it that will still remove last year’s promotion credit. I'm trying to contact móvil and ask again if I can stack both promotions.
Anyone knows about this, please add comments.
