Rooting T-Mobile Samsung a14 5G?
These phones come absolutely full of garbage software I want off them. I didn't ask for facebook and when I found out there was Microsoft stuff there - blech. I can't remove a lot of garbage, unfortunately, because I don't have actual access to control my own phone that I bought and paid for (why, Samsung, why must you be so Apple-like). Some googling shows that to remove that stuff I need root access (I know what this means, I'm a linux user). To get root, I apparently need to unlock my bootloader. XDA Devs says I need to allow OEM unlocking - but this option has been totally removed by T-Mobile. No problem. Downgrading the OS by fooling the system clock is supposed to be possible - but, no, that was removed too. I talked to Samsung and they couldn't help me, but said I should talk to my carrier, so here I am. How can I get OEM unlock working?
Are you a Tmobile customer and is the phone paid off? If so according to the unlock requirements posted in the link below the phone will automatically unlock and you will get a text message letting you know. That's how I found out my Pixel 6 was unlocked after 40 days.

You can use ADB to debloat your device. There are a few decent terminal apps in t he Play Store along with Package Viewer 2.0 that will give you everything you need to debloat your device.
The ability to unlock the bootloader the bootloader requires the device to be SIM unlocked. On top of that, you need to be a part of their enterprise contract program. I don't recall the specific name of it but it's literally $1,000 for the first device and $500 for each additional device to have Samsung give you a bootloader unlock token for your device.

Listen I thought the same thing and I wasted weeks and weeks combing the Web and watching YouTube videos, I tried everything and nothing would make it even appear let alone show up grayed out. And then I realized the same thing as you did Since the phone wasn't paid off they They hadn't authorized it to appear. Then I tried a few cracked programs I had Downloaded off the Web And OEM unlocked it,as Well as the boot loader In about 5 minutes, And rooted it the same night. There's nothing to it, Try TFT unlocker, It works good and it's fast, You don't have to pay off anything, that's just a myth they tell you to keep you from digging any farther.

That's what is nice about Android is that there's services that can do that. Apple not so much.
