I bought a new phone a year ago.used it for a year without problems a couple of days ago, after resetting home, the iPhone stopped accepting French SIM cards As Apple explained to me, my phone was blocked by your company.  IMEI 35 280684 44882 2 serial number V7G0FHYWCD Please unlock my phone !

Did you buy the phone from Tmobile?

I bought a phone from Rakuten  22/04/2022  ( https://fr.shopping.rakuten.com/ ) the phone worked without glitches until the last days. unpacked the new phone, inserted a French SIM card and it worked for almost a year without problems but a couple of days ago the phone stopped accepting the French SIM card

willing to bet it was not sold unlocked (might have been advertised as unlocked but it wasnt) and it took this long before it was noticed that it was never on TMOs network for the amount of time needed for it to be unlocked.

My guess is the phone was jailbroke and relocked after an OS update.
