Ordered phone cannot be rerouted to UPS store, what happens if item returned to sender?
I ordered a new phone and it was supposed to get delivered yesterday but I was not available to receive and sign for it. I will be at work these next few days and wanted to get the delivery rerouted to a UPS store but there is a restriction by the sender to reroute. What happens after the final failed delivery attempt and the phone gets returned to the sender? Will I receive a refund?
Gracias.

Missed my delivery today by about 2 minutes and I'm having the same issue here. What a joke. I don't understand how a t-mobile customer service rep can't go into their system and simply change the delivery to a UPS store, because you definitely can't do it through UPS because it says the sender won't allow it. This is clearly a t-mobile problem. This issue seems like a common complaint and they still haven't fixed it. I went through this same thing a couple years ago and ended up wasting 2 hours at a UPS hub before I finally got my phone. I'm not doing that again. Not everyone can wait around for a 4-6 hour window for a delivery to show up simply to miss it and then have to start the same nonsense over the next day. Thanks for absolutely no help, t-mobile!

There shoup be an option to pick it up at the UPS hub.
Try calling UPS to make sure it's available for pick up.

I called UPS this morning and they said there is a restriction by the sender and that my package cannot be rerouted to another address or UPS store for pick up. I have been going in circles with T-mobile customer service and UPS because they have both suggested that I called the other. Is there a way around that?

It should be able to be picked up at the hub that's delivering the package. Should have no restrictions there. You should just have to show an ID. That's how it was in Illinois, it's a pain since hubs have limited hours

Have you tried contacting the sender to have it rerouted to the UPS hub?

I am having the exact same issue! UPS says T-Mobile must authorize a release to pickup at the UPS hub. T-Mobile rep says they don't have the authority to do so. Meanwhile, I'll never get my package. I'm stopping by the hub this evening to see what happens in person. Otherwise, I will cancel my order and their service.
