BAD SERVICE

T-mobile I will never ever get their service again.  Every month for the past 3 months I have had terrible service from them and each time that profusely apologize and the problem persists. ON May 2, 2024 I called and spoke to a rep to pay for my $60 unlimited plan and they put me on a data plan.  On the same day I had to call them at least 4 times because 2 hours later I still did not have service.  3-4 hours later I received service.  ON May 5, 2024 I get a text saying I have used 80% of my data.  I then spoked to 3-4 different reps assuring me that I would have my unlimited service.  A supervisor called me evening of the 2nd and the 5th assuring me that my unlimited service had been restored and please do not give them a bad review.  ON May 6th my services were off along with a text saying that 100% data had been used.  I called and was again repeatedly apologized to with them saying it was their error and that the ticket had been escalated.  At the same time I do not have service and they have my $65.20.  They then told me while they were escalating my ticket that in order to get services, I would have to close that account and pay more money to get a new number.  I still have not received my refund even though I was told that they put in an order and are processing my refund since May 6, 2024,  Everytime I call am being told that the refund is being processed since May 6, 2024.  Today is May 20, 2024, still no refund.  On the 6th I went to another carrier.

    File a ticket with T-Mobile Help through X / Facebook or alternatively … the  BBB.  This is a community forum, and there are only a few mods here.

  • LOL, i can add to that, when t-mobile activated 5G my cell phone that had worked perfect for 3 years suddenly would not take incoming calls or texts and allow me to call out also.

    I thought my phone the problem and bought another cell phone...THAT one did not work either!!!

    FINALLY, a decent (rare) tech support guy admitted that when they activated 5G they SHUT DOWN LEGACY SERVICES, effectively make probably 1000s of customers to have to buy a new phone!!!

    T-mobile proudly announced their wonderful 5G...with out notifying people that certain older models will now NOT work.  

    I actually have had t-mobile for nearly 25 yrs, i am not kidding. and in the LAST 2 YEARS, they have gone to crap, period. and yes the customer service: expect to spend 80% of the time forced to listen to the reps who have been trained to use scripts, THEY TALK YOUR BRAIN TO DEATH!! and say NOTHING of any use. They are also very evasive, ask a direct question, you MIGHT get something resembling a direct answer after another 10 minutes of babbling your brain till dead!  over all, their cust. service is horrible, misleading on purpose, less than usless most of the time…

    dunno, I MAY after 25 yrs, DUMP them...
