constantly switching towers

Why oh why does T-Mobile continually switch from one tower to another. I discovered as performing speed tests, that when it switches towers, that's when it's apt to lose signal long enough that I lose connection to the internet. There are days that it will lose connection more often than others. I live in NH and it will switch to towers miles and miles away. It is the most annoying thing ever, and will be the reason I drop T-Mobile unless it is resolved quickly. Has this happened to you guys as well?

UPDATE: PROBLEMS with your internet constantly going down? Call a T-Mobile rep and have them check to see if your tower is experiencing problems. If it is, try relocating your router. Ignore what the app shows for the tower and rotate it around slowly to see if you can pick up signal from a different tower. All you have to do is keep an eye on how many bars show up as rotating. I was able to do this and connect to a different tower that the app doesn't even show. It has solved my problem and I haven't dropped the internet since. I wish you luck.
