Re: constantly switching towers
Curious George wrote: UPDATE: PROBLEMS with your internet constantly going down? Call a T-Mobile rep and have them check to see if your tower is experiencing problems. If it is, try relocating your router. Ignore what the app shows for the tower and rotate it around slowly to see if you can pick up signal from a different tower. All you have to do is keep an eye on how many bars show up as rotating. I was able to do this and connect to a different tower that the app doesn't even show. It has solved my problem and I haven't dropped the internet since. I wish you luck.16Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G home internet keeps dropping

Sometimes it will do it seamlessly, while other times you'll notice a little interruption in service and then it will continue, unfortunately there are times when the tower switch is delayed long enough that it kicks you off the system altogether. They need to fix this by either not having the system switch towers or by making sure tower switches are close enough so the delay isn't so long that you completely lose signal. UPDATE: After finding and speaking with a very competent rep, I found out that my tower needed a repair and was waiting on a part. He suggested that I try finding a different tower to pull a signal from. The T-Mobile app only showed the one tower as being available. Just for the heck of it I tried rotating in a direction opposite of where it indicated. BINGO, I got 3 bar signal and have not had it drop the internet for 2 days so far. I love T-Mobile when it's working 100%. Good luck to all that might be experiencing issues. You might want to try the same.9Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G home internet keeps dropping

Why oh why does T-Mobile continually switch from one tower to another. I discovered as performing speed tests, that when it switches towers, that's when it's apt to lose signal long enough that I lose connection to the internet. There are days that it will lose connection more often than others. I live in NH and it will switch to towers miles and miles away. It is the most annoying thing ever, and will be the reason I drop T-Mobile unless it is resolved quickly. Has this happened to you guys as well?Solved111Visto0likes3Comentarios
