How to report poor reception
I have a problem with reception at Mt Bachelor in Bend Oregon. While skiing on the east side I tried to call ski patrol. My Iphone 13 says "5G" and shows 2 bars or service. I dial, the call connects, but no one can hear me and I can only hear ski patrol for a second or two. Why the poor service when my phone shows 5G and 2 bars? I called 611 from the location on the mountain, the call connected, but the TMobile person could not hear me. so is it a tower issue in the area?
my precise location on the mountain was 43 58 38 N and -121 40 09 W
I have the same experience in Lake Tahoe CA. Strong signal but bad data and voice quality. This is due to the surge of people during peak seasons. Since this issue is seasonal and only on certain days of the week, I don't think TMO or any carrier will add more capacity.
To our original question - you can always call TMO support to let them know but they will never commit to doing anything about it. You may have better luck complaining to the local tourism board or chamber of commerce.
