People Outside of T-Mobile Not Receiving My Texts

I just started having this issue today, first time I’ve experienced it after like 10 years of being a Tmobile customer.
Something interesting: I live in a high rise building. When I'm in my apartment, I send texts and they're received by people, but I don't receive responses. When I go downstairs to the lobby of my building, I get all of their texts at once.
E.g.
I send a text at 1pm, my friend confirms via instagram they received it when I sent it. They respond immediately, and I don't receive their response… until I go downstairs to the lobby. I'm assuming it's because I end up using a different tower? Not sure. All I know is, I've lived in this apartment for a year and I've never had this issue until 2 days ago.
