You may want to poke at the metrics tab on your iPhone *3001#12345#* (If I'm not mistaken)
Android devices have have some tools/apps that can give more / visual info.
I've had items like this - where T-Mobile shows '5G UC' on their coverage map, yet it is 'No Service' outdoors.
