T-Mobile activated a new SIM card but I still can't make a call or send a text because they didn't register my new phone on their network?
I just transferred my SIM card into the new phone T-Mobile sent me but I can't make calls or send text messages. When I tried to make a call it says "Your phone's not registered on a network, so you can only make emergency calls." So what can I do?
You need to activate the new Sim card.

Anytime my wifi goes down and my data is nit registering my phone says the same thing. I have to step outside where I have data to make or receive a call. Screwed up isn't it! I never had this problem with a t&t.

T-Mobile does not require a device to be registered for it to work on the newtork. If your SIM is activated. Make sure your device has the correct data and APN settings.
