T-Mobile's international travel plans vs eSims

Depending on your plan, you may have free service in Canada (and Mexico) in the ports, same as you have in US. Just returned a couple weeks ago. You can even use your hotspot in port for other devices.
Other international ports, you have free limited service………. slow data and 25 cent per minute voice. We cruise a lot and always use our free, included international service (Go5G plus 55) in Europe, Australia, Caribbean, etc. Never bought an additional plan or foreign sim. You will get hit up for incoming spam calls (2 minutes, 50 cents each), so be careful of that.
Cruise ships must turn off their “cellular at sea” system within a few miles of land, so no worry of accidentally connecting to the ship’s expensive service.
