Amazon Fire Television
I ordered T-Mobile internet service, and was supposed to get an Amazon Fire TV. Not sure where to check the status?

I ended up getting my email with my code though. TV being delivered today.

I chatted with T-Mobile and agent said they sent the email on Feb 5th but there was nothing in my inbox. He re-sent and didn't get the email. He then called me and connected me to T-Mobile Rebate Team. The agent there walked me through ordering the TV with a code. I placed the order and received the TV last night. Make sure to check the status of your reward. Mine said Approved and I had to provide a screenshot of that.

I talked to a customer care rep and he assured me that since I bought mine online on the 29th that was the day it was considered activated. I even had him double check to make sure. Then my promotion was denied and upon calling it was escalated. Had to sit on the phone for nearly 40 mins. The customer service person transferred me to an accounts care person I think she said it was who told me I did everything right and do qualify for the promotion. Said I should get the email with the code within the next week and that she will call me to make sure I received it. Let's see what happens.

Currently on the phone for 45 minutes. This is my 2nd call. I was denied. FOR NO REASON. I am going to speak with an attorney about starting a class action. It's a television for ____sake. If someone would like to contact me, my email address is jacen81@gmail.com. It is unbelievable that I would need to peck and scratch for a redeem code that should have been sent to me 2 weeks ago. If I have to I will spend the next 3 years of my life fighting this, I will... JUST FOR PRINCIPAL!! No one should have to jump through hoops for the redemption code after the 60 days of validation.

Jokes on you.
I signed up for T-Mobile internet and the TV promo was a nice perk.
I realized many many weeks had passed so I found this forum and knew the trouble I was about to have.
1 agent told me I hadn't waited long enough.
Weeks later another agent said I see your submission sorry about that you will get your code Wednesday.
Today I inquired again after, guess what, no code in my inbox. Supervisor John said there was no submission ever made. I told him I'll take my 20 years of loyal and over $20,000 I have spent with T-Mobile and take it somewhere else.
I know I followed everything to the letter when I filled out that form. Additionally, I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission for fraud. I have all the screenshots to back up my claim.
I find it wild they acted suprised when I mentioned the multiple posts about this apparent scam they are running on different promotions. Some of the posts are in their our community forums.
Cancelling my internet, cell service, taking my business elsewhere, and upgrading my phone with new company. 😀

Filing this in small claims court and/or class action lawsuit.
I have pictures, audio recordings, and more of their reps saying I qualify and then saying the internet was activated 1 day after the promotion ended therefore I did not qualify any longer. I am tired of us customers getting scammed.

I have just filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO FILE A COMPLAINT AS WELL. ONE COMPLAINT WILL NOT TRIGGER AN INVESTIGATION, BUT SEVERAL...WILL DEFINITELY RAISE A FEW EYEBROWS. There is power in numbers.

So I had the same experience as many others. Checked the website over and over and tried to be patient and not call. It said my reward was approved and it would be sent soon. Of course I never got anything. I called, which required many minutes to no resolution but told the issue would be escalated. Customer care called me back and told me a code to enter on Amazon. The code was expired. Again, the issue was escalated only to be told that I must have missed the email, too bad so sad, you only get one code and now it's expired, call Amazon and see if they will accept the code. I said yeah right there has to be a new code you can provide, this is a scam, yadda yadda. Called Amazon, of course that was a no go. Found this thread. Messaged T-Mobile on Facebook messenger. Immediately was offered at $250 account credit. I said wow, amazing, thank you, but is there anyway you can generate a new code... The fire TV is $329.99. They said thanks for bringing that to my attention, we will credit your account $330 instead. I SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE FOR NOTHING. Don't make my mistake. Of course, you're probably only going to read this because you've reached this point already. I ordered my Fire TV and I can't wait! So good luck!
