Change 5G wifi to 2.4g
My husband purchased a Smart Valve Water Controller and we cannot connect to our WiFi which is 5G. In easy to follow directions, can anyone tells us how to change Wi-Fi to 2.4G, connect the Smart Life device and then return to 5G. Keep in mind I am 83 but did work in IT prior to retiring but am still active on Mac computer and IPhone 12. ¡Gracias!

There are easy to follow tutorials for both iOS and Android available to do this. Also, take note of syaoran's suggestion above which is required for some devices.

When you separate the wireless into 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. You might also want to reduce the security to WPA/WPA2 from WPA3/WPA2 for compatibility.

According to T-Mobile settings for their wifi modem router you can not change those settings. You'll have to by another device, maybe a wifi extender and change that to 2HZ. You have to add it to your current network.
