I am a half mile from the nearest tower, get full bars and it is the same. My phone gets 5G but the Home Internet would connect to a remote tower on LTE. My internet speed are below 50mbps due to deprioritization and I have problem at times even watching streaming TV (1 device). Problem is not signal, it's tower congestion. It got worse after they introduced the new Go plan and now my Magenta plan phone gets lower level of service and my voice calls are bad.
I just canceled my service and went back to cable modem. It's like the commercial says… it's not home internet unless it's Cox internet. LOL
I will be switching my phone service after my 2 year commitment is up - phone financing.
