remove ATT router

Switched from att to tmobile. Tmobile tries to connect to the former att router. How to i remove the att router.

  • @Mrharris can you unplug the att router in your home? Can you explain what is happening?

Your T-Mobile gateway should connect to the local cell tower. Then you setup the gateway using the T-Mobile internet app. After it is setup you can add a home Wi-Fi router. Is this what you have?

Can only guess there is something strange in the cache maybe on the T-Mobile Gateway? Unplug it for 5-10 minutes and see if that clears it out. If not do a factory reset, that will take it back to the state it was in when it came out of the box. As mentioned above, why do you have an AT&T modem or gateway even plugged in? Is it a switch or router maybe? Need more details to figure it out.
