Well quick update. After a hour it already started to drop signal and go in and out of searching again. I'm going to apply the bands tmobile has listed as bands they use and elimate one by ine to try and see if the phone trying to connect to a particular band could be causing an issue.

Just reset my band setting and did the update. It started off a little iffy but seems to have stabalized for now. Searching and internet started off slow despite having full bars. But now seems to be working good. We will have to see if it stays that way or if after a few days starts dropping service again like after the android 12 update.

not that a update hasnt blasted the hardware on a device before..(i remember one it happened to when i was helping on the Sprint site but for the life of me i cant remember what device it was..Motorola i believe) but its very rare..
i usually just do the usual troubleshooting run down..didnt happen before update now update and it happens? update related..which also means swapping it out for another same device wont matter unless its still on the previous update..same scenario here..
also the main reason i tell people to hit up the manufacturers forums..you can learn quite a bit in there..especially if issues are popping up. at times its a bit of an eye opener when you start to see that no its NOT just one carrier affected..you just dont hear about the others here unless someone points it out.

I thought I had a case with some magnet in it may cause interference with signal, that wasn't the case.
Got a new car, thought it was blocking signal... That wasn't the case.
Changed a new Sim card that wasn't the case.
Finally found this forum... Thank God at least there's a way around it until samsung gets its next update. This work around is good for now..
QUESTION: when the update comes do we need to do something after??
Got update today. After update I had to go in and uncheck AP and restart to get service. Before that list all connection to TMobile. Will see if this update fixed the connection possible
with everyone locking down their connections in there i was a bit curious if a fix update would revert all of the changes back or if people would have to go back in and manually adjust it back.
Yep, the only way I could get any signal back at all was to go in and uncheck the "AP" OPTION. Restart the phone which basically sets everything back to normal. Will now have to wait and see if the update resolved the connection issues. Mine didn't happen a lot so will take a while to verify.
The one thing I always thought strange was why "some" reps with T-Mobile and. Samsung were saying it was a hardware issue. That didn't make much sense to me being that there weren't issues before the update to Android 12. Plus TMobile wasnt the only ones having this issue. Other carriers were as well. I guess we will have to wait and see.

I called 1 (800) 726-7864 Samsung customer service and they had me ship it off to them. the phone is still under factory warranty and they have fixed it. It has something to do with the new update that happened on 1/30/22.

Hello all…..I have been using the work around found on this post for a while now and it works almost perfect. I do get a random message sometime that its searching for network but it seem to connect immediately… the call quality is much improved and messages send with no problem, 5g seems to work fast and efficiently. Today i got an software update ending in BVA9 and I was hoping this was a permanent fix. This does not seem to fix anything for me...after the update the phone went into searching and I had to manually select T-Mobile .The connection bounced between H+ 3g and 5g with super slow internet browsing. I have only tested this for a short time in my home but that was enough for me to reapply the workaround to get things working again
Thank you for sharing!
