Wanting to return ~7-10 year old CellSpot, fastest way to get return label?

Hola,

Trying to remove some clutter from my house, I found a very old (probably 7-10 years old) T Mobile CellSpot. Is there a faster way to get a return label generated? I'm on hold with Customer Care but it's been over 30 minutes and considering they'd have to email me a return label anyway, there's gotta be a better way.

PS: 30 minutes on hold with no indicator for how long the line is... wow

  • I just got the e-mail a couple of weeks ago saying that the warehouse accepted my returned CellSpot TM-AC1900. Getting the return label was like pulling teeth. Eventually, TForce (on X/Twitter) sent me a return label with a RMA number of all ones (e.g. 111111111) which concerned me but it worked. My understanding is that the problem is that the TM-Ac1900 doesn't list it's SKU (# 610214693976) anywhere, without which the S/N is of no use to the return system. The important thing is if it is still shown on your account profile. If it is, you are on the hook for that ancient piece of junk.

Here is a discussion I started on Reddit on the topic.

Toss it.  If it’s that old then they are more than likely discontinued, and no longer even being sold or used by T-Mobile.

Do not toss it, please. I would hate for you to get a non-return fee even though it has been many years. Reach out to our T-Force team through one of the social media platforms linked at the bottom of this page. They can initiate the return for you and let you know the return process.

I really feel like nothing in this digital age should be as hard as pulling teeth. ðŸ˜« I am glad that the T-Force team was finally able to get you a label that worked. That is why I usually suggest them above any other team.

  • I did eventually get a hold of someone on customer support’s phone line and they gave me a shipping label...hoping it got there safe since I shipped it out on Sunday
