Programa de Descuento para Internet

T-mobile states the message "T-Mobile is proud to participate in the new federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)" on their website, and I applied for and was approved for the program. However, when I called T-mobile customer service, I was told that T-mobile does not support this program. Why are you displaying this program on your site if you don't support it?

Just talked to a customer rep about this yesterday, Nov 25.

She was very nice, and did inform me that even though I am eligible, I have to downgrade to Metro by T-Mobile, as T-Mobile itself does not offer it.

I've had the same plan for 8 years. Fully unlimited everything forever. No throttle, no data cap.

    No.

Here is what it says from T-Mobile.  Key information underlined and bold.

T-Mobile is proud to participate in the new federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which offers internet service payment assistance to eligible households. We’re making the program available through Metro® by T-Mobile and Assurance Wireless®.
